So, the CIA lied to congress.

Her communication skills aren't very good for a Speaker. Watching her reminds me of watching briefings with Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. When it's over, you feel like you just watched someone say a bunch of words but said a lot of nothing.

The way she's searching for words and fumbling is pretty typical of someone trying to make something up as they go along. Ever had your kid lie to you? Nancy is acting the exact same way.
I'd be forgiving if she said "Hey, I was having a bad week." Menopause issues, a hangnail, anything. Or even, "It didn't sound that bad when they described it."
Heck, I'd even accept a distraction excuse. Here's one she should use:

More like Pelosi mislead everyone else. She has become pathalogical or maybe she always was, and we are just now being made aware of it. Pelosi is a typical politician. Corner one like an animal, and they will do anything to keep from being caught.

I have been aware of her for a long time. I don't understand why people can't see the pattern. Blogovich, and the guy who he tried to sell Obama's seat to were exactly the same. They are still yapping about how they are just poor victims. It's so scary that people this unstable are controlling this great nation.
Oh what about Geithner, they have to keep him away from cameras and microphones. He isn't remotely capable of communicating his non plan, make it up as you go along..., plan...
We can't forget about the communication skills of our House Press Secretary either.

She is lying and trying to cover her tail. She was briefed, the CIA already roved that. They can easily destroy her now that she has declared war on them, and it is going to be a wonderful thing to see.
The democrats got all high and mighty over the waterboarding issue, but forgot that they were in it up to their necks... just like Iraq.
Now the chickens are coming home to roost... on their heads.

I noticed it years ago with politicians, it seems as if it's just getting worse. They learn it from each other. I can't imagine being in a room full of them, it would have to be the most boring and confusing gathering of human beings on the face of the Earth.

I really haven't been following this stuff, but I did catch a glimpse of her speaking this morning and your right. Her speaking skills are awful!

She's an embarrassment to us women if you ask me. Shes a perfect example as to why some think women should stay out of politics. She had to read her statement two or three times as if she were afraid of being caught in a lie.
A professional speaker should be confident and be able to clearly get the message across without having to fumble and stutter.

It is almost comical the way she is digging herself to an even deeper hole. Of course this is the person Obama left to come up with a plan for Health Care.

A lot of political people leave me feeling as if I have just been in a Peanuts comic strip, "Blah, Blah, blah."

Former Senator Bob Graham, the only Democrat other than Pelosi to have been briefed in 2002 said he wasn't told about waterboarding either.

This has really turned into quite the "he said/she said" situation. I'm not going to call anyone a liar at this point but it's clear there are conflicts over who was told what when, etc. I say they take Nancy Pelosi up on her offer and release the memos about when she was briefed. I have a feeling the GOP may be sorry about what they wished for by going after Pelosi; they may find some things will come out that they'd have preferred NOT come out about Cheney and other high level officials in the bush Administration.

Rep. Steny Hoyer, the House majority leader and fellow democrat that was at those briefings was asked if he felt the same way as Pelosi about the CIA and the briefings. He did not back her up. They asked him if he thought the CIA has mislead or lied to them during the intelligence briefings. He said no.
So it looks like Pelosi is lying and the rest of dems are not backing her up.
Looks like she may go down for this one.

She's a lying liar who lies and then when she gets caught in her lies tells MORE lies to cover up the original lies which only serves to reveal the inconsistencies in her lies and reveals her for the lying liar that she is!
Smart politicians would do well to distance themselves for her as her lies spin out of control.

"To be a good liar, you have to have a good memory."
I think that's a proverb from The Bible. The problem with habitual liars is they have told so many they can't possibly remember the same story twice.
They always get it one way or another and I firmly believe in "you're sin will find you out" which I know for sure is from The Bible.
I for one won't feel safe until she and just about all of the rest of congress are replace with wise, true Americans like Glenn Beck. Lol, I'm beginning to think Paris Hilton would be better than the likes of her.
Our founding fathers never meant for our government to make careers out of politics. Football players learned the hard way that you have to always specialize in another field and have a plan B to fall back on. I almost always have a plan B and or at least a plan B2. They need to always keep in mind that they can easily be replaced. Our founding fathers didn't want us to have political leaders for life. That's just plain dictatorship.
