Would you sacrifice your life for the sake of your friend?

I have a few friends worth dying for, however it's really hard to say what you would do in the situation. Would you leave your family and everything you have in life for the sake of one friend, or would you abandon your friend? If it came down to that it's a loss either way, hopefully it would never happen.

You mean as in die for? If it was that someone was doing something to my friend, I would have to take the chance it would be them or me. I definitely would for my family and nearly did lose my life one day because of it. When you really care for someone you do not weigh the cost.
