I know his stories are controversial, based on facts and about the catholic religion. But I guess most of it are just fiction, since not all the facts are true. But nonetheless, I love how he writes and how he manages to twist the story until the end. So far I have read, Angels and Demons (looking forward to the movie) and Da Vinci Code (watched it already hehehe ^_^). So how about you? Do you like his novels? Have you read one?

I've read both Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code, and I enjoyed both of them. Of course nobody can say for sure that either of the novels are 100% historically accurate and they're definitely controversial, but hey- they're well written and you can tell he put a lot of thought into the plots, keeping the reader in suspense until the end with all the complex puzzles to solve. I think they're great reads and I just look at them as good fiction, nothing more.

Hey machatago. i love his novels also, it feels like im being given a trip around rome and france. The Da Vinci code book i read is actually the one that has pictures in it, so I'm so hooked. i love how he tells his stories in a very realistic way. Im so awed at how he writes his stories and makes them grow into international proportions. I even cried with the ending of the Da Vinci code. But still you will know that it's just fiction and that the Catholic church shouldnt get offended about it cause it's just a made up story. I also like the Da vinci code better than angels and demons. i dunno, how about you?

Yes! I do, too! They're compelling, interesting, and historical enough to make us really think about things in a new way - but fictional enough to still be considered fiction. I've only read the Da Vinci code (and seen the movie) but I really want to read Angels & Demons, too.
