Hypnotized

Have any of you ever been hypnotized? I am currently reading a book and doing a program with Paul McKenna. It is called "I Can Make You Thin." This book included a hypnosis cd. I listen to it each night but I'm pretty sure I'm falling asleep before I can even be hypnotized. So I'm wondering - have any of you ever been hypnotized before? What does it feel like? How can I know I'm actually hypnotized and in that state rather than sleeping?

I don't have sleeping problems either - hahaa, which is part of the problem! Like last night I only remember hearing the first few words of the cd and then I fell asleep. Apparently though, even if you fall asleep some of this stuff is still suppose to sink in. The book is great. I highly recommend it to people that are looking to control their eating. It's all about eating until you've reached that satisfied feeling. And the cd is to help reprogram your brain.

I've never been hypnotized but it does interest me. I don't think that you need to be awake for it to work. The stuff you're listening to on the cd is sinking into your subconcious while you are sleeping. Or that's what I've heardhappens anyway.

I've never been hypnotized. Most nights, I can fall asleep very easily. So, I don't really need to use hypnosis or anything like that.

Hypnosis isn't for sleeping. There are many different reasons to do it. I don't know, I guess maybe if you had sleeping problems you may use hypnosis for it? But it's mostly to get your mind in a certain state and to "retrain it." Such as what I explained about this book or some people do it to quit smoking, etc.

Oh my gosh! This sounds REALLY cool. Let me know if it actually works! I would imagine that stuff like this is a scam - but who knows. Oh, and I just looked up the prices for these.. Yikes! For a hundred bucks, I sincerely hope this works! I'm totally an insomniac, so if I had this, I would probably stay up for hours & hours on end listening to this CD if I bought it. Maybe I'll try to find it on Limewire. lol.
