Prefer java because of its platform independence.

I like c# better. As I mainly code in the windows platform, I have to deal with legacy c++ code and the fact that C# can interact with managed C++ helps me a lot when I have to reuse library previously written in C++.

Java is more compact than C# but java programming do requires perseverance. I am a lazy programmer and don't like too much hard coding so I prefer C# using .NEt than Java :)

I love Java because it is simple and very organized. Also, it is very safe to use and it can run to any platforms. I enjoy making programs in Java especially games. Though I am more knowledgeable in Java, I worked as a C++ programmer. Whattalife! Anyways, its the concept that matters. Not the programming language. At least I can do programs in other language other than Java. Currently, I am studying C# and JavaScript. What a good training for me.
