Do you think that Italian dishes in Italy are the same that you can eat in a foreign country? I'm Italian and I can say that Italian dishes in the other countries are not very Italian dishes... You can believe that pizza and pasta in every country are the same, but they are not like we prepare in Italy... I think it's for ingredients or for different tastes!

I agree that cuisine from any country changes some when it goes to another country! I think one of the biggest misconceptions about Italian food is that it is the same all across Italy! I spent 3 months living in Florence. I also traveled to the north and all the way down to Sicily. The food varies greatly across the country! I do think you are right that part of the difference is the ingredients. There are certain things that are hard to get in other countries or are very expensive. I do love Italian food. The Americanized versions and the real stuff in Italy! I cant wait to go back to Italy. One of my favorite parts of traveling is the food!

Very good! I think that if everybody come in Italy and eat Italian food in Italy, when they come at their homes, they can't go at foreign "Italian" restaurant anymore...

I disagree. I think that people will still go to their local Italian restaurants. I still love that food! But I do think they will learn that it is different from what is actually offered in Italy.
