Has Anyone Ever Used oDesk?

I saw someone mention this site in another topic on the internet board. I was wondering if anyone here has ever used it? I want to know if it's really legit and if anyone has made any money from it. It does sound interesting and I really hope it is because I want to try it out.
So has anyone here ever joined and used the site? Did you make anything, assuming it's real?

I am one of those persons that have earned in Odesk. You can check my blog in my profile. I have recently posted payment proofs of my earnings. I have earned more than $2,000 from July 2008 to date. The thing I like about this site is that there is no registration fee.

So, other than the ten percent oDesk takes as their fee, it's for the most part completely free?
And what kind of jobs have you done on the site?

Yes, only the 10%. If you charge $2/hour then they will the buyer $2.22/hour instead.
I have done data entry, web research, social bookmarking, patent search and accounting jobs. But mostly are data entry from pdf to word, pdf to excel and research on net to excel.
