thinking too much

I am always thinking. I think about how the world was made, one thing always leads to another and I never get my answer. There is the bible way, and the scientific way. Both have no actual real answer. I think about evolution, i don't believe it is true but some things make me think it might be. One random thought always leads to another. One minute I could be thinking about what to have for lunch and that can turn into taking a trip around the moon. How lunch equals space, I have no idea!! I love to just sit down by myself and think forever :) what are some things you think about, or if you have an answer to my unanswered thoughts I would love to hear it. I am also a very argumentative person, so I might have questions for your answers.

Hello kendellczopko!!! Welcome to the mylot discussions. And specially the thinks are very much welcome here in mylot. I too think like you sometimes... How did everything came into into the existence, this is the greatest mystery of this world and like you said there are some theories from religion and some from science. And both of them are very much contradictory and doesn't bear the exact truth. And I think its not possible to get into the exact thing about how everything started. Nothing can travel faster than this mind hehe...I hope you don't have to argue on this fact. Do you? And another thing is that our mind is a real monkey and it is restless. Not only you, me and every one. There are many times in my life when I liked to be solitary and remain alone in the room. Most of those time, I keep on thinking, really imaginative. And I also have thought sometimes how everything came into existence. But various times, various thoughts regarding this hehe... Well the most thing I always keep thinking is why is this world so cruel, why is the nature so cruel where one living being is bound to survive dominating over the other creatures. The strong one always dominate the weaker ones. And this is still totally the nature. And why on this hell, these things go on? Just because this world is so imperfect for the living creatures really. Every one say that the world is perfect for the living creatures. But I don't agree on this matter. Actually it is our illusion that this world is perfect, but in fact it is not really perfect. And now you may argue with me in this point lol... We think many things at a time and that's why it becomes difficult to bring down the serious conclusions. If we want to get the conclusions, we should really practice the habit of meditating, converging our thinking to only particular topic and think think and think on that matter. Go on analyzing the facts and slowly and slowly get closer to the fact. This is the best way to get to the solutions of the realities of this mysterious world. And these every thing, I learned from the life of Lord Buddha and his meditations.... This is really a nice post kendellczopko...Keep mylotting...Glad to get a new thinker in mylot...

same problem with me , my thoughts are even worst than you , but all of my thoughts come & stop on one thing , what is life ? why we are thinking ? is god as presence , if it has where it is , sometimes my thought also make a target to all the persons to whom people made them god. if i do something , it made me think that why i was doing this , no one to explain me , if someone explain me , i made it a question & ask again , & you can imagine what they give answer. lalalaldldjlldlsadlasssd i am thinking that why i am writing this.

I am the same way, I didn't really know how to explain it but you did a really good job :) I am always thinking like that. I wonder why I do something I did, how do I do it... now i am thinking about how my brain understands what I am reading and how I am writing.. I know these things can never be answered but I think about it anyway. No one can explain how our brain works, sure it is nerves and stuff but HOW???

Well I hope both of you guys must learn to meditate. And the purpose of meditate is again thinking. But it is slightly different than this our monkey type mind thinks. We are thinking large number of things restlessly and can't get a single good conclusion. Meditation means thinking about a particular thing only. The first thing to do while meditating is to empty our mind with all the thinking and then think about what you want to think and only one topic. Analyze it why is it so, how is it so. Bring so many facts regarding to it. And draw some conclusions. Well the conclusion may not be the exact but still the closer and closer to the the exactness... WARNING: Over thinking unnecessary can drive people mad. lol... Enjoy mylotting friends...

I dont bother too much thinking what you are thinking. I just to believe in what I believed in. But I often think too like my problems, everything I want to do, what had happened, things like that. I'm thinking also why my life is like this. But we just have to deal with it and make the most of it. What I do is think of a solution to problems.

Welcome to myLot, newbie! We are sentient beings, and thinking is our essential human-ness. I don't think there's such a thing as too much of it. After all, our thoughts make us who we are, and only be thinking can we work out who and what and where we are in the Universe. It's our reason for existing!

I forgot to mention, there is strong scientific evidence that we think while in a comatose state. The only way I know of to stop thinking is to die.

With such knowledge of the complex, God creates the universe with a BANG. The universe unfolds into what we have today just like a seed can grow into a giant tree. Wouldn't evolution fit into this plan? As far as the bible story of creation, where are all the technical specifics. I want details. I don't see even DNA at all. Hmmm? Perhaps, it's just a story you tell your kids who wouldn't understand even if you told them. We would discover it all anyway.

I am actually the same way that you are. I always think of things and my mind is never idle. I start to think of how the world was created and one thought goes down to another as well. I enjoy sitting with others and having conversations where we can exchange ideas and I can learn new information. I believe that by asking questions and by engaging in conversations one can truly find the answer to what they are seeking.

I have so many answers but can't find the questions for all of them... Just joking. I usualy get my thinking, the same as yours, when I get into bed and try to sleep. I think so much and so random that sometimes I can't even trace the original thought. When this happens, I find that an hour or more has gone by since I got into bed, then I get frustrated because i am thinking in my sleeping time. I have found that when my brain goes into this thinking spree, I do not realy seek answers, I just ask the question and then the next thought comes up, and so goes many questions, no answers and plenty of lost sleep. Maybe I should focus on the first question, answer it, and maybe I will fall asleep... May you find answers to what is worth answering and the ones with no answer... ah well, just let it be. What's the answer worth anyway. Happy thinking, I think!!!! Blessings

There is a method which you can try to control your thinking. Try to cut the ideas or the thoughts as and when you get them. You try that hard and you will succeed. Cutting thoughts is a way to meditation.

interesting thoughts... Perhaps as someone young once, I always had simple questions with simple answers. That seemed to keep me busy and happy (enough). As I grew older, I realized that there are two major aspects of each person's reality: the (unshakable) facts and the things we choose to believe in. Personally, I feel the quest for spiritual wellness through one's preferred religion is a guaranteed approach to being happy with all the unanswered questions. But then again, it's only me :) 'care to comment? Cheers

I personally HATE thinking about stuff like this, because you're absolutely NEVER going to come up with an answer. We either have to have faith in religion or have faith in science - there's no actual proof that can be put in front of us that will make us sway one way or another. I'd rather live my life and enjoy it than dwell on "how the world was made". Life's too short to spend all of it thinking!

hi, i am a thinker too, i can thinking in something long time, and i am argumentative too. But i want to say, that is not to good, sometimes i want don t think to much in something, because not all time is ok with something who are like me. If i must take a decision, first i must think a lot, and all sides of problem are not to may for me. Our mind is educate to think, this is sure, but...not to much, who think to much sometimes lose important ocassions, or don t think to good. About what you are thinking in...i have same questions, i belive in God strongly, but i can t stop myself to ask if is possible evolution too, or maybe other peoples from other planets. I saw so many documentary, i read a lot, but seems that i need to think in this too.

i am sorry to hear that ,thinking too much is not a good thing .you do not know lot of things around yourself but i think it is useless to know everything in your life .you can have your own life just enjoy the happy things and forget the bad ones .If you can do this ,you can have a good mood everyday .

same here. i always think of everything around me. my problems, parents, money, my son, being married and everything under the sun. it's like i am always concern about anything that's around me. sometimes i hate being like this because people doesn't care at all if you care for them. they will just laught at you and don't appreciate what you are doing for them. so i think that maybe i would just think of my self and my family. sometimes i think about our future. if we are already rich by that time or if we already have our own house and car. things like that.
