In the poem "I went to the woods because/I wanted to live deliberately/I wanted to live deep/and suck out all the marrow of life." what's the meaning of "deliberately"?

Yes, I would say it's living life with full awareness of every moment. You know how time can fly by without you noticing where it went - living deliberately means being conscious of what you are doing or thinking at any given moment. Hope that helps :-)

I think "awareness of every moment" is the soul or core of the word "deliberate".Thank you!

It means living life with a carefully thought out and intentional purpose.

that's a strange way of using that word.. you could say it's "intentionally rough" in a way, motivated by instinct.

Poetry can be hard to get the context right, but I think "slow and carefully" might be what it's meant to mean here.
