Burning the Candle at Both Ends

Well when i had my vacations on few weeks back i used to stay awake till as late as 2.00am but since now i have to go to college the other day......i got to bed early......i cant afford to sleep so late and get up early in the morning...... Reaching my payout was my prime motive........but also i was a new member here so tried making a mark and responding to a lot of discussions...... It was fun to stay awake.......specially because there is silence all around you and you get pure thoughts for discussions.........

i do make sure it get a good night's sleep but i know what you mean about burning the candle at both ends. once i get up in the morning i go, go, go and never stop until i fall into bed about an hour or so before i go to sleep for the night. i do so much and i am literally overwhelmed most days and do not know where to start. luckily i am innately organized so it helps a great deal to stay on top of what i have to achieve each day. i feel like i have too much on my plate, more than the average person. much of it is because i have a husband who does not really help me with much of anything and never has. if i can get him to do one or two things a day it is a big deal but i will take all the help i can get!

I am a night bird.It started from my high school days where I learned that,only in the nights you are not disturbed and the whole town is silent and it is peaceful to study.I could grab more things easily at night.Still now,if there is a job to be completed immediately,I choose the nights to do it.Not only we are not disturbed,there is no need to go for eating too.Just a jug of water by the side is enough and the whole night lies in front.Cheers!

i think it is a good idea to work at night when there is no one to disturb you and your mind is free of thoughts as well.no interruptions no other work i think it is the perfect time. and whatever hard work you put in will certainly be rewarded. i just made payment last time and received it . so i know it feels nice to get rewarded for your work.i do something similar to what you do but i actually work in the early hours of the day. i get up very early and use mylot at which time my net speed is also good considering my net is slow i think i make good posts at that time.

Well I accept portrait art for commission and my art clients are sometimes really demanding. There came a time when I pushed myself to my limit, I finished 3 portraits in 6 hours when I came home from school, I started at 9pm and finished at 3am in the morning coz the order was rush and they really need it in the morning. It was awful, but I'm glad that the price was worth it. School works are terrible, I remember before when I was in college and we have a feasibility study, my team worked all day and night trying to finish our report, obtaining interview from firms and alot of paper works with regards to legal documents and apart from that, these transactions always involve a certain amount of money.

Haha, seems like you really like myLot a lot. Staying late at night just to continue posting and reach your goal, solute you! Ya, when i was still a student, i also used to stay up till late at night to finish my work and study, especially when the exams are around the corner. I was quite active that i joined activities during my university years and becaues of that i sometimes have not enough time for both study and acitvities. So i've to burn the mid night oil to finish up my work. Now i'm a working adult, and i seldom work till late at night. This is because i once read articles saying that sleeping too late at night is not good for health. So, since that i tried to sleep earlier and make sure my work is done in the day.

I have not stayed up a lot recently, I seem to be getting really tired at around 10:00 every night. But it is really nice to be up late at night on the computer when everyone else is asleep. It is nice and quiet and nobody is interupting me asking me to do stuff. That is wonderful. Since it is Friday I might try and do that a bit tonight. I want to be sure to make payout this month as well. I didn't do it the last 2 months, and before that I usually did. I am pretty close, but will need to be active for the rest of the month if I expect to make it.

We used to stay up late (that is my fiance and I) because we felt our creative juices were flowing much better then. Now though we are in the habit of keeping a day schedule because now we are close to our wedding date and are preparing for that as well as going to counseling with our pastor. I hope that you do make enough money to get payout next month. I am also striving to work a bit harder here in mylot to make money.

hi rainegurl. yes i do have a habit of staying up late but not because i'm working hard but because i'm partying hard!!! lol! just kidding. yes, i do stay up late at tiems to put in extra work when i was a student. i also did the same in my previous work. there really is something different in staying late to do a task. you are sure that ther ewill eb no interruptions and you can work at your own pace. also, with everyone asleep, you have as much privacy as you need and want. happy mylotting!!! cheers!!!

Hello With the lot I do some of my posting off and on in the afternoon , but usually find the most time , and the fire at night to just keep posting . With mylot I sometimes push myself , and push . I am just curious on to how much extra I can make . I used to make over $1.00 a day and payout was pretty sweet . Then this winter I fell into some freelance work and let this slide , and now I have time again to make a little extra . I sometimes will burn the candle at night and give more , because i know to reach payout I have to . I sometimes do my writing at nights or will read a book .

Hi Raine, nice to know I am not the only one who stays up late to work on mylot. I like to work at night because it is quiet and you don't have the phone or anyone interupting you. It seems like just when you know what you want to sat in responding to a discussion or starting one, the darn phone rings or you get a visitor and then when they leave you thought has left with them..lol I have fibromyalgia so I have alot of nights that I do not sleep and so it works out for me to work at night. I do not have any children at home so it really doesn't matter if I lay down ion the afternoon and sneak a nap if I need to. Flutterby

I usually wake up late to post for the threads in a forum where i used to visit everyday . But now i feel good in myLot also specially when i found out that i can earn from here . I love talking to people online and think this hobby can now do me some good by posting in myLot .

well i wake up till 2am but not for anyhardwork...i am addiicted tol watch movies in nite.. and if once stard i can't sleep without ending it..this is very bad habbit of mine..i am really working on that,and try not to start latenite movie..and you know wheather movie is bocus,even i have to end it..and rest i sleep late nite only in exams days:-) have a nice day ahead..
