Do you actually eat three meals a day everyday?

I usually eat supper and that is it. Sometimes I will eat lunch but not a lot. My Mom says that I should eat breakfast if I am only going to eat one meal. She says that it would be better for me. I do not eat breakfast because I usually do not get up that early and lunch is just not that appealing to me. So about 5 in the afternoon I will eat. And it is not like I am eating and then going straight to bed. I never go to bed before 10 at night. So, is there any others out there like me?

I usually eat one big meal a day. Otherwise I eat small meals or just small items when I'm hungry. At school I tend to eat a lot healthier than I do when I am home. I know I really need to break the habit but it's really hard to break it when everyone around you does not eat meals either or foods for meals that you want to eat.

Although I know it is not very healthy, usually I am luck if I even remember to eat one meal. I have two daughters, and while I ALWAYS make sure that they eat three meals a day, I myself don't. Most times I find that I am just too busy to stop and eat, although I will grab an apple or piece of cheese to snack on. I think that there have been rare occations when I will eat two meals a day but those of few and far between.

Hi, young woman I come from far distance let me joint to your discussion just to add my post, see I posted only less than 400 although I already more than 3 years at myLot. My parents is basically farmer combine government as employee. eating at home is the most strick family regulation, even if we intend to go out they asked me to have our meal first, breakfast in the morning and also luch or diner according the proper time. why ? in order not to spend money from my pocket hahaha... yes sure we have three time meal a day although it was a very simple menus, where there was only RICE with vegetables and one egg diveided into 3 parts, or salty dry fish ! And now I can avoid my habit, eat three times a day although only rice with sauce even sometime I have my supper too at midnight when I awake. I can not sleep if my stomach empty that sometime I fill it with any meals, friuts, vegetables, if there was not rice and there was only banana, I can eat 5 to 6 bananas to make my stomach full and go to sleep well...it is true hahahaha, see you !!

Hi susan,
In our house no one is allowed to skip any meal and we have our breakfast which is quite heavy. Then at about 1.30 or 2 PM we have out lunch which is not very heavy but heavier than dinner and about 9 PM we have our dinner which is light and you mom is totally right if she insists you that you should have breakfast because your body need energy to work whole day and you should always have breakfast like a king and dinner like a beggar.

Yes I have 3 meals a day. You must have it too cause it helps in better growth of your body. Otherwise you will be deprived of the required nutrients.
I get up early in the morning, so I have lots of scope to eat.
I start with tea and biscuits.
Then snacks at around 10 am.
Followed by lunch at 2 pm.
Then some snacks at evening again.
Finally dinner at night at around 10 pm.
I sleep late that is at 11:30 - 12 am.
I am perfectly fit and healthy with this diet and you must have fruits in your diet as well !!!

Hi there SusanShayAvon,
I don't eat breakfanst but coffee, and sometimes i ate supper sometime i don't. its depend of my pocket and my mood. LOl. Eating and then going straight to bed make belly appearance bigger than the rest of the body. So better we avoid that.

Yup, I eat three meals a day regularly...no skipping, not even breakfast. I've trained my kids to eat 3 meals a day and that we should eat together as much as possible. I trained them early on, so I've got to set the example myself...

Hi Susan, I usually take two meals a day, that is lunch and dinner. I skip breakfast on weekdays, because of the rush to work. I'm not sure what time your supper is. If we take supper, it's often with friends who visit us during the evenings after dinnertime - supper's usually 11pm onwards.

It is a tendency that young girls take care not to eat much to maintain good shape. But to stand the hard mental, if not physical labor, we need energy, mostly from food. I have a niece in the twenties, who is in such a group. Once when ill, the test results told that her calcium content was that of the fifties. She feel cold all the time, and very weak. When one lacks source of energy, sooner or later, problems comes. So do not neglect proper meals, esp. breakfast, as your mother said.

Hello SusanShayAvon, I usually have at least 2 meals a day. I have to have breaklfast. I feel like I havent started my day with out breakfast and have to have coffee every day or I will end up with a headache. I also need my daily large glass of milk with my breakfast with cereal and a banana.If I get hungry later I will have some cheerios to snack on.

i dont eat breakfast because we were never used to eating breakfast... and i always wake up late...
i dont eat lunch because sometimes i dont feel hungry, sometimes i drink coffee or sometimes i eat bread. but if my kids are home then i have to cook, then i get to eat lunch. but most of the time i am home all by myself so i dont cook.
the only meal that i never miss is dinner... lol

Yes, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, supper... I'd die if I miss one, lol. I'll definitely starve. Im petite though, but I love to eat specially home-cooked food. Its good if served hot. I guess the reason you don't have an appetite for breakfast of lunch coz you wake up late, usually, your body is not in the mood for food intake during those hours...

no i dont take meal three time a day because if we take meal three time a day it is very dangerous for health and we can become fat and fat cause many harmful side affect.........
