So I was about to sign up for youdata then I noticed that they required your cellular number. I understand that this is to guarantee the integrity of the person who is joining the site. Can anyone who is a member of the site tell me what they do from giving them your cell number? And also do you receive any calls now that you wouldn't normally or any other unwanted problems with your cell now? Thanks for your responses in advance.

I do not know this site and maybe it is one of their brilliant ideas to require a cell number. Cheers!!

I haven't joined this site, but I've joined other sites where they've required telephone numbers for verification reasons, and I've never had a complaint with them calling me or telemarketers as a result. YouData seems pretty legitimate, and I don't think I'd worry about them calling me when I don't want them to. But if you're worried, you should read the "privacy policy" on the site.
