Am i wrong that i keep my hair long as a girl?

It doesn't matter what your classmates or teachers think or say. Once you graduate, those people will mean very little in your life. It only matters how you feel about yourself. Appearance is not who you are and does not define you. I am a girl and have waist length hair. It's healthy and shiny and I love it! You'd be suprised at how many people insist that I cut it shorter! I get all sorts of reasons why. Some say my look is out-dated or that my hair is too much work. It's my hair, what do they care? lol Do what you like. Don't worry so much about what others say. Wear your hair back while you're at school but don't cut it if you don't want to.

The moment you feel comfortable with whatever you have then I think you should not be too much bothering about what others are saying to you, my brother-in-law gor long hair and he loves it, his hair is more longer than mine and more beautiful too so I don't think you should be believing that its wrong when you are loving it.

You have to be yourself. If you like your long hair then keep it. I, personally, love long hair on men. Look at the rock stars.

You don't have to mind what other says. Just do what you like, and what is the best for you. If you like long hair, grow your hair. If you just want to be normal, you can cut it off, and do it only for yourself, not anyone else.

i think its totally cool having long hairs. but considering the suggestions frm teachers, u can trim them slightly short, after all its ur choice . juz do things dat really makes u happy

Do what feels right for you! In the bible there is a story about a man called samson who had very long hair. When he cut his hair all his strength. I think hair is quite spritual. lol i mean that!

omg i love a man with long hair. its not rally in style theses days but i asked my hubby to grow his hair long and all my girl friends are drooling over him...its funny i think.he looks so good.if you like your hair long its your hair dont cut it.

well, personally i prefer short hair in men. they look so very confident and smart with their short hair. but again, it is a matter of personal preferance. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' about such choices. it is a matter of what you prefer.

Hi ! I say if you like it then keep the hair long I knew and had a crush in high school on a boy with long hair down to his shoulders . It just made him different and i liked that . I mean maybe in a job you wil have to cut it some , but in school you should not have to worry at all .

It's upto you at the end of the day and whatever you feel comfortable with. It shouldn't matter how long you hair is or what it looks like but people probably will judge whether you like it or not. Just be aware that if you are trying to get a job you might be discriminated against because of your hair or you may be asked to cut it. It's your choice ultimately as it is your body.

My hubby has long hair and I like it. Dont let other people tell you what you should or shouldnt do to your appearance. If you like it long, then keep it. The teachers most likely wont be in your life later and they should know better than to judge anyways. Do what you want, be who you want to be, not what others think you should be.

If you like your hair keep it. The only opinion that counts is your own. It doesn't matter what other people think it really doesn't just be happy being you and you'll be happy period.

honestly i feel that it is up to you and what you are comfortable with, i had long hair for many years, however it wasnt my classmates and teachers that advised me to cut it, it was the doctor, to my suprise, my hair was the cause of the majority of my headaches, so i cut it, and when it was all said and done, it was my hair, my headaches decreased dramatically once i cut it, i mean as long as there isnt a health related issue with your hair i dont see that there should be a problem with it, men have their preferences and you have yours, all i can say is that if you are comfortable then leave it long, you are your hardest critic....

I think there's nothing wrong with it. Just take a bath every day, at least ones and keep your hair away from your face enough to see your face.

Well it is up to u to keep it long or short , though i personally feel guys shouldnt have long hair. I wouldnt want my man to keep long hair. A short hair look so good on men. The guys with shorter hair look so manly while they dont look much manly if they support long hair over their head. Please dont take me as rude, just saying what i felt like over long hair.

I don't quite get it, you mean your classmates and teachers are trying to tell you that you look like a guy? In any case, don't confuse youself too much, there is nothing wrong with a girl wanting to keep her hair long. I refuse to cut my hair too =D If you do not want to cut your hair, then let it be. No point cutting it due to other people's point of view and regret later on.

if u like ur hair then there is no reason to cut it its ur wish if it makes u happ\y thn noones opinion shld matter but ....if the normal society does not allow and there is a situation as ure talkin abut teachers then i guess u shod reconsider.......

its not wrong....but...its really hard...i tried once and my mom really make pressure so i have to cut it...lol

i think there is nothing wrong with you to keep your hair long. It is your right. Sometimes it is hard to stick to your own thoughts while people around you are against you. In my opinion, you could tell the true feeling about keeping your fair long to your friends and teachers, they will understand you.
