There is nothing like real MAPLE syrup! I could drink it from the bottle. I love it on ice-cream, pancakes, french toast, waffles, and also used as a spread for toast.

Hi. I like the real maple syrup. It cannot be beat. But, it is also very expensive. I have made a fantastic pumpkin pie useing the real maple syrup, instead of sugar, and it is fantastic.

Well the pumpkin pie is fabulous. I first had it in New Hampshire. It was awesome. Everyone likes it better than the traditional ways with brown sugar.

Hey, never used it in pumpkin pie. I bet it was heavenly. I have a good friend that makes his apple pies with maple syrup. Man are they ever good.

I absolutely love real maple syrup. My uncle used to tap his trees and make his own, yummy. I find the fake stuff pretty nasty and I can't eat it, but the real stuff I could drink. In a town near us they have Maplefest and they show how it is made and how to make candy and they also have a pancake breakfast with tons of maple syrup.

OMG Breezie, I hear ya! My husband thought I was nuts when I drank the remainder of the syrup from the serving dish. Then I cleaned it out with my finger. It is gold I told him. You should never waste a drop.

We have friends from the Netherlands who love real maple syrup and the candies too. We sent them a package with maple syrup, candies, spread and sugar. They recently came to the USA to visit and bought large amounts to bring back to Holland with them. It has been only a month since they were here. The candies they purchased are gone, they syrup they brought back they still have, but a few were given to their grown children who also love it.

Real maple syrup is the best. I am trying to talk dh into tapping our few trees that we have and maybe get a gallon this year... I think the kids would love to watch the process...and of course dh loves real maple syrup, he wants to buy some everytime we go to the store... so this year... I am going to buy him a bottle for Christmas...the bottles that they put it in are also very pretty...

I will stick with buying my maple syrup at the grocer. It takes a lot of sap to make one gallon of syrup, not to mention the work. But if you are doing it as a family project it is a great idea. Kids love to know how it works.

i don't really care, as long as it tastes good. usually i think i'm used to the fake stuff, so i tend to like it better.

I have to admit, while I would love to say REAL... the natural syrup isn't as strong in flavor! I love the real maple products, the maple butter or maple candies, but the fake syrup is stronger. It's so weird!
