HEY,gentlemen,attention here.
I find so may boys or men aroud me really enjoy or addicted to playing internet games, most of them ranging from 6 to 40 years old or more. Some games are really violent and crule, killing your enermy and improve your rank.
Some boys playing internet games day and night without a break, what is really attracting them?
I'm just wondering when will the boys or men get bored with internet games and move the whole center back to life.

I think it depends on the game that you play... and how much time you spent on them. I agree that too much playing can be bad for you.

That's the point----appropriate time, not over would be fine. I agree some games can increase mental ability.

i think your question, friend, is synonymous to "when would women stop beautifying themselves?" (even if some naughty guys would say it doesn't make any difference.) boys would be boys. that means men would always be boys

Great response. The answer to that question would be "never". lol Needless to say, it's going to be impossible to get a guy away from his Internet game, just as it would be impossible to get a woman from doing what she can to make herself attractive.

I think most boys and men will never stopped playing games. I also love playing computer games. There has been lots of time I used to sit and play games. I don't like violent games. I think strategy games and adventurous games are very good. I think they should develop games that contains adventures rather than simply fighting games. I think different people like different types of games.

I think game inventors should have a responsibility in inventing some games containing voilence, and restrict it only to adults, instead of harming children, they are more vulnerable.

Hmmm. I am a woman and there are also plenty of women gamers. I'm not quite sure what your aversion is to this but there is a big following, and there is nothing wrong with people who enjoy gaming. It is a very social thing, at least multiplayer internet/online gaming, and while most of it does include some violence, most of it is people against computer generated monsters. Some people do play PvP but it's a small percentage compared to the majority.

I convince that most of the games themselves have no fault, we or game players should have self-discipline on games.

If there is still internet connection I know
they will not stop playing games. Unless if that happens
that all computer bugs down then they might be stop with it.
Its a high tech game of both young and old these years.
They enjoyed with this rather than seeing a live basketball
or else. They prefer this because they have opponent in
the game and they challenge especially if they win all the time.
They will love it as really happeneing in their true to life
playing games.

My boyfriend has been playing a game for a long time, and he was addicted deeply to it. Sometimes I would watch him playing it, sometimes I would tangle with him. But in a word, we have lots of thing to do, he gradully decreases the time in palying games now.
As a matter of fact, I have no idea why he would like to play games so much.

Playing such internet games are addiction to some people no matter guys or men, they can rid only if they divert their mind to other things rather than just games.

I don't really know about this because my dad is already 28 years of age yet he still plays online games. There was even a point where he can't stand up even for a moment. There were also points that he even misses lunch! He even topped up his points frequently and it totaled 80 thousand pesos! He was a game freak then but good thing that he isn't a game freak anymore. I myself have been a game addict before and it's with Audition Online Philippines. But that was 2 years ago. I'm more mature now.

Hi,janet8893;
Playing games can relax our tired body and intense nerve. In games they can find something they cann't find in real life. However, there are a lot of boys be addicted to games. They paly games instead of go to classroom. They use a lot of money to play games.I think they are wrong.Games,it is not a bad thing, but we should not addicted it.I hope they will find this as soon as they can.

there is nothing wrong in playing internet games.. it is one way of relieving stress or depression.. and most of us guys are so busy at work that we need some time to be happy.. and in playing online games we can meet other players that can be our true friends.. and it is not guys or men who are playing online games.. there are many girls or women who are getting addicted in playing online games too.. so think about it.. try one online game and who knows, you might change your mind..

According to some psychological experiment I read a year ago, most boys would want to play games, because that's where they feel secure. They become the masters and the rulers of the worlds in the game, unlike in the real world, where many of them are not that rich, that they have less. Games let them forget this, and give them a new view: one where they are successful, but they deceive themselves.

Psychological point, yeah, i do agree with this point, sometimes even girls in the game would feel better than in real world. But i think it is not good to escape real world, just "sometimes" is Ok.
