Have you ever been so enthralled by a novel that you developed a crush on one of the characters in it?
When I was a kid, I developed a crush on one of the older characters in Pat Smythe's books about horses. I even used to dream about this guy and had to remind myself that he wasn't real *lol* For me, other crush-worthy heroes are those in Jane Austen's books, Mr. Darcy for example.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Have you read the book entitled "The Dark Between the Stars" by Jane Blackmore?

When I was in college, I never had a feeling for a character in a novel. But since some of these novels have introduced into movies, like Harry potter and the like, Its where I saw the definite character being written from the novels. That made me fall to them when I combine the novels and the imagination brought by the movies.

This is pretty embarrassing but a good discussion topic anyways. When I was in 6th grade I had a crush on Mary Anne from the baby sitters club.I liked her because she was very much like me.Bookish and quiet with over protective parents.like me to she also came from a single parent house hold. I liked her a lot and thought if she was a guy and a real person we would probably get married and have kids. Funny thing is I didn't admit that I liked girls until seven years later. Its also weird that I have a current fictional crush on Guss the sidekick of Phyche. If he were a person I would totally date him.

I know the feeling. I've had that happen before. I see it as a good thing, I can completely get lost in a book. The characters become so real to me that I can actually picture myself in the story. Than it's not difficult to fall for a fictional character or two... :)
