Since I can remember, I have always loved arcade games. The innovations in today's world of games is no doubt astonishing when we see how far technology has come over the years. But, there is nothing I love more than a classic arcade game. My favorite is Galaga. My dad used to take us to the restaurant Border Town, which is a Taco Bell with an arcade room. He'd give my sister and me enough tokens to last us a good half hour. When we finally ran out we would find our dad still playing the same game, which of course was Galaga. A small group of people would sometimes watch his endless reign against the armada of aliens. Essentially I think this is where my interest in the game began. Now, I can beat anyone who will challenge me. Although it's a small amount of people that have challenged me, I feel I am at least a bit better than the average gamer when it comes to Galaga.

Well I was addicted to Street Fighter during the late nineties. I would empty my pockets just to play that game. lol! I was so addicted that i have to self-rehab by focusing more on school than playing arcade. I would list the number of days i missed playing the arcade until the time when i was more addicted to listing those days on my notebook. lol! I still play Street Fighter from time to time but this time, on my computer. I was also addicted to Pacman but i haven't tried it on an arcade system. But i guess everybody knows it's an arcade game right? I first tried it on Atari and my hands would sweat from too much pacmanning.

Actually, there were many arcade games we used to play. I did have a favorite then, but don't remember it now. Think it was contra or super contra or jackal or something along those lines...I still play in those old skool arcades you find in some places. I remember playing TEkken3 in an arcade corner in 11th grade. That was when I used to go for IIT coaching to Delhi. They had this rusty shop where you could play tekken and some other games. We were hooked to tekken then

I have never played Galaga but I can't understand the meaning of Arcade game. Is it the old Contra type game or a Mario game. I love these two games, although they are 10 years old. These were the games, I played for the first time in my life.
I have played games on PS2, Xbox and pc too but the old simple 8 bit games were so sweet for me.

Well, if you are referring to the arcade games in the arcade centres itself, I will say I enjoy those music games (such as Taiko no Tatsujin), and those redemption games. I did play those classic games such as Pac-man and Street Fighter as well.
I will say that in the current society, not a lot of people go to the arcade centres to play the games. Most rather stay at home to play the computer or console games.

My favorite old arcade game would be Galaga, of course but the one I love is not exactly old but it isn't new. It's the Simpsons arcade game with the combat.

My game of dreams is Sonic Blast Man. It is the legendary arcade were you have have to punch a pad that is covering a metal arm. There are five levels and the hardest is hitting a meteor. You need certain score in tons (game unit) to break it. The meteor is incredibly hard from I understood, I have a video of former boxing world champion Frank Bruno hitting it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TBJBCmDQ7M
I plan to buying the arcade if I can get it from somewhere. The sequel is easier to get. Sonic Blast Man 2 or Real Puncher
I want to try the same level as the boxing champion.
