It's definitely a burden for me.. It takes alot of self control and determination in order not to over spend.. THe temptation is always there because we are allowed to spend more than what we really earn.. Thus overtime, alot of ple tend to take advantage of it, by signing and signing, yet only paying the minimum every month..
By time they really notice it, they are already way over the limit.. So they will turn to other banks instead, sign up for another credit line to pay for the existing ones.. In the end, from one debt, they start to accumulate with many of them and becoming a bankrupt in the end..
So it's definitely a burden to me.. hehe ^_^

Even the rich can lose their self control when it comes to pride and status.. haha =D MOst rich ple likes to show off, and thus i dun think there's any self control.. haha =D
MOney itself is a form of temptation.. So no matter how rich one is, they will only wanna get richer.. lol =D Well, your husband is working, and u can spend his money 'wisely' though.. lol =D

oh yes i think so...and that's why there's some rich people who become poor...because of such attitude and unwise spending of their money!
yes my husband have work and earn some money but no, i can't really spend it the way i spend when i am still single! yes you are right, i have to spend that wisely coz if not, it is still me and him will suffer and i don't like that to happen...

i think its a burden. if you cannot afford something, dont buy it!! its as simple as that, if you want something that badly do overtime at work, find ways of saving money and buy it that way. not only that by the time you have finished paying for what you wanted you have probly paid double the amount you would've paid for the item in the first place.

I strongly agree on the point that if you cannot afford something then don't buy it. But credit card, while giving you the ability to do just that, doesn't mean you have to do it that way. It all comes to the self-control of the owner of the card against the temptation of making purchases that he cannot afford.

I think whether the credit card becomes good or bad depends entirely to the owner. If the owner lacks the self-control, then the credit card becomes a bad thing because the interest is very high and the owner will get into deep debt. but credit cards also have their advantages because the owner doesn't have to bring that much cash to buy a big item. Plus there are promos like 6 months to pay at 0% so it is easier to budget and pay for appliances. Again, it is only good for those who have strong self-control. Most of the time, people get tempted to spend more than their budget and end up not being able to pay the amount due.

I have a credit card that I had to shred because I was just getting too tempted to use it. I think it is a good thing to have because it does help your credit a little but if you are irresponsible with it, then it can be a bad thing and hurt your credit. You just need to be smart with a credit card.

Hi,friend. In my opinion that depends on the person who own them.I love to use credit card and have enjoyed a lot convenience when consuming. It's a good thing to me because i trust in my self-control.I will not buy something that I can't afford and pay back the bills in time.

I think it depends on how you use it.
Credit card is simply a way that the card company are offering you a loan that you may have taken it accidentally. But then, you are always welcome to payback your outstanding balance before they start charging you interest. So, it really depends on whether you buy what you cannot afford just because you have credit card.

These days everybody gets lured by credit cards as seeing it's easy flow of money. Only thing is that one should use it cautiously to avoid paying exorbitant interests the company accrues from the customers. Use as much amount which you can easily pay back within a month, as after that you'll be charged high rate interests which will make a big hole in your pocket. Don't get lured by the temptation that the card limit money is all yours.

hi ckyera,
Well it depends on your capacity to pay, If you have plenty of money then you should have credit card for you dont need to bring a lot of cash. however if you have limited income, i think better not have one for it becomes a burden and sometimes if becomes trouble in the future. Always think carefully before having it for it can make or brake your life.

There are only two acquisition you could have if you will be having a credit card.
ADVANTAGES: You can shop anytime, whatever you like as long as it would not over on your credit limit.
DISADVANTAGES: It would be hard to control if you have it already because you always an access and availability to shop whenever and whatever you like. The big problem there would be during payment period...
But if given a chance I would rather have one than nothing just in case of emergency....Cheers
