Your Star will appear when you see 100 points against your name.
The number increases whenever:
1-You start a discussion with atleast 1 response
2-1st response you make on a discussion started by someone else.
3-The 1st comment you make on a discussion started by someone else.

Well i didn't know about these things that you have mentioned......it is not mentioned n the FAQs i guess.......

Yeah. I couldn't find information about a lot of things you might want to know in the FAQS section either. Oh well. I guess we know now!

You will have to reach 100 posts before you can have a star.......the ratings would vary according to the ratings given to you(positive) so don't worry you will have a star bedside you name soon.......just keep those posts and responses coming in !!!!

SO if no one is rating me positively do I not get a start? And what happens if i dont get rated at all? I feel that no one really rates fairly on here sometimes. And one more questions. Does the start have anything to do with your earnings?

when your posting reaches 100 you'll get a star.
Star shows your reputation.

It represents your mylot rating. You get a star when you reach 100 posts. YOur rating goes up if someone rates you positive!
