Who are your favorite Disney characters and why?

If you are a fan of Walt Disney movies, who are your favorite characters? Why do you like them the most?

Ariel, from The Little Mermaid is my favorite because she is strong, independent, adventurous, and is a risk-taker. She wants to be heard and even if Ursula stole her voice from her, this did not stop her to achieve what she really wanted. All the more that she was determined to fight for what what should be hers. She is not your Disney Princess that is very obedient and quiet.

I like Ariel alot too. Nice answr! She is very strong willed and kind of a rebel too. Great movie! I think Sabastian is a great charcter too! The Little Mermaid is definitely one of the great Disney classics.

It's one of my all-time fave Disney cartoon. I watched it gazillion times when I was a little and I still watch it until now. I even bought a DVD of it when I was in the States. I read somewhere that there Disney got some comments that were not-so-nice because of Ariel's character, mainly because she's kind of deviant. There were people who did not like it.

It's somewhat difficult for me to chose just one, as there are so many good Disney characters to chose from. Although one of my favorite characters would probably be Belle from the Beauty and the Beast. I've always like her a lot.

winnie the pooh, I have always loved pooh bear!! My daughter loves winnie now due to my obbsession lol!!

I always like Belle and Jasmine. I like Jasmine because she is a princess and she had the tiger for a pet. I don't know why but I think have a tiger is so cool. I wish I could get a pet tiger. Anyway and she married Aladdin and even though everyone thought she was stuck up because she was a princess she showed everyone that she isn't. I like Belle because she sees the good in everyone. Any other girl probably would have tried to escape and not even give the beast a chance. Also, she is smart and didn't care that other people were calling her weirdos behind her back.

Cinderella and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Cinderella is one of my favorites because she wins out over the mean step sisters and I liked the fantasy of the pumpkin turning into a carriage and the glass slipper transforming her back into her beautiful clothes,etc. I loved all of the Seven Dwarfs in Snow White partly because they were cute and also because I can relate to most of them.....Grumpy,Sleepy,Sneezy,Happy......
