of course it hurts a lot. but as the saying goes the truth will set you free even if it will hurt a lot. i guess i'll will still be friends with him but there would be a lot of changes when it comes to our friendship. and accept things that were not meant to be.

If he tells you that you are only friends, be happy. The goal is to find true love and this is not it. Though it seems to fit, it will be nothing to the passion of true love. True love has no time table. Some people don't find true love until late in life. Always stay open for it. It seems to show up when you least expect it!!

I have actually had a friend of mine who I cared about deeply who told me that he only saw me a friends. I just backed away for a loittle bit to deal with my feelings and then I started talking to him again. While I do care about him still, I would rather have him in my life as friends instead of not having him at all. We dont talk about relationships or people that we have feelings for, so it works for us.

I'm not sure from your post if you and your friend are in a relationship or if you and your friend are just really friends and he doens't know you love him. Well what wether or not you are in a relationship, if a person tells you that your only friends, than that's what it is from their part. I know it's difficult to hear those things from the person you love but you must accept that is the way he feels about you. He only has feelings for you like a friend only. Take it with a grain of salt and look for someone who will truly love you back, not only like a friend but a partner.

Well, definitely that hurts! But what can I do, I don't want him to love me just for the sake of pity. Better move on and find somebody else if that's the case.
