do you purchase your softwares or you download it from a free source??

Well most of the times I download the softwares from different sites. But I do (have to) buy some softwares like OS and big stuffs which I cannot find online. But in our country, all the softwares are pirated. Even you can get Windows Vista for $1. It's illegal but it's sweet too.

Sorry to say that I always download softwares, including the operating systems, from the internet for personal use, not for commercial purposes. copyrighted ones are too expensive for me to afford.

I always purchase software because I am too afraid of viruses.

I always download it from a free source. Because the purpose of using the sofewares is for learning. With the coming of the era of web2.0, we can share many things on the Internet. I think it is expensive to buy a software. Since many websites offer the free softwares, why not download it?

I buy main softwares like Operating systems, Office softwares etc. Its safe to have a genuine copy of OS and other Softwares. Recently i bought Windows Vista Premium Operating System CD. I also download drivers and free softwares like Browsers, Audio and video players, Messengers etc. I use Kaspersky Antivirus which i bought two months back.
