Is mercy killing or other wise known as euthansia allowed according t christian contexts? well we all know that the bible says we cannot take our own life or another persons life. So how so when it comes to euthanasia? When you a person is living on the machine can you allow him to die by switcing it off? where does euthansia stand in biblical context?

Hi alvingb, As with anything that's taken in a Christian or Biblical context, You will get different opinions based on interpretation. Keeping someone alive on a machine makes no sense, unless there is a chance for recovery. The teachings of Christ are about treating others the way we want to be treated, and few would want to be kept alive on a machine. Blessings.
