Hi Janice.....and yes I try to save for a rainy day.
It isn't much, because I am on disability annd I don't get very much, but I try and put all of my change everyday into a jug.
It doesn't look like much, but it will add up someday and I will be able to use it someday when I need it.
As far as borrowing from friends and relatives, they really aren't any better off than I am, so it is everyone take care of themselves.

hi there friend!...
i always saved for a rainy days!
its a habit to me...
every ones a week i always put aside money to put something in my bank..i included that to my budget ...
cause our salary is not enough...the world is suffering from to much crisis now ..
so we must be practical...
and money is very valuable...
so i learned to save more for my future comings...or for emergencies..
thanks!
take care!

Yes, I do try to save whenever I have any excess after each month's expenses. Though I don't save much, I will still put aside some money in case of rainy day.
Personally, I do not like to borrow money from people around, may they be friends or relatives. So, no matter what, I will still save a little just in case I need it one of these days.

This will be my first response (hehe)
I do try to save money every once in a while.
In fact, when I get a hold of some money, I put away some to be deposited into my bank account for when I need it the most.
I make sure that as much as possible I don't ever borrow money from my relatives or other people since I don't want to be indebted to any of them.
A little money saved a little at a time could amount to so much in the long run.
