Talking budgy birds

My friend was telling me the other day that she went somewhere and they had a budgy bird that speaks english. I didn't think it was possible for a BUDGY bird to talk. If anyone else has seen it done please comment and if you have one that talks please, please tell me how and how long it took for them to learn.

It is very common for a budgie(budgirigar) to talk. They need to be encouraged when they are young. Keep repeating the same thing over and over again.
Some are quite remarkable in their range of vocabulary and clarity of speech.
