I might be weird..

So today I was asked why is it that I listen to so much music all the time?... I dind't know it was a weird thing to do. I listen to pretty much everything that's not garbage. I have a wide variety of music that I listen to. Anything from Miles Davis (Jazz) to Lil wayne (rap/hip-hop). The end doesn't end ever. It just keeps expanding. I guess I just love music. I know I can't carry a tune but I love to sing. I don't watch television but I listen or as I like to put it Jam out all day long when I'm home and at work if I can get away with it. Do you find it weird to listen to music instead of watching television? Do you listen to music like I do? Am I weird to you? I don't know give me your input on the matter and we'll decide this.

I don't find you wierd. In fact I find you more similar to me, just i'm worser.
I love to listen to music a lot, and I don't care which language the song will be. I can listen to every type of music all over the world. I love to listen to Arabic music, I found it very good music.
Every time I get to know a person from other country online, I ask him to send me a good songs in his language. I just love to listen to diffrent languages.

I'm like that too. I really like that punjabi I probably misspelled that but it's Indian music. Not Native American music but Indian from India. Oh and of course Numa numa by ozone I think it is. You should check them out. I find it all interesting.

You're not weird. And even if to one person you do seem weird, you shouldn't worry about it, because if we go by one person or even a few peoples opinions... every one is weird. Heck, I suppose we're a world full of weird freaks. You want know know what weird is? I had my tongue pierced at 18 and I've gotten a tattoo... yet before then and still to this day I freak out when it comes to needles when I go to a doctor or something. Now that's weird. And I'm proud to be weird. lol.. no.. it's not weird... it's different. I don't know you, but I think you're awesome. What a variety in music! I love to listen to a variety of music as well... from rap/hip hop to country to rock and hard rock and alternative and more. I've had many people as me how I go from rap to country but... hey... like I said... maybe I'm weird(to them anyways)... I may be weird to some but to me... I'm a normal me. :)

You know what that is so funny I have the same problem with the needles. I have a couple pircings and tattoos and I hate getting shots or getting blood drawn too! Ah I think you're awesome too. I prefer to be called weird I think it makes me different in the long run. I refuse to be normal it's so boring. I go from music style to style depending on my mood. I can't help it I just do.

Yea that's me, I switch each time my mood changes pretty much. And my "favorite" songs... always changing. Always changing in type, always changing in singers... just always changing. But then, every time you turn around there's a new album or song coming out by someone(or multiple someones)... how can the favorite not change? And I'm with you on that one... I like being different.

No i dont think it is weird at all. I also listen to a lot of music. Music is a great way of releasing your stress and unwinding. But how many hours of music is really relaxing is upto the individual. i listen music for upto 3-4 hours daily. My brother listens to music everywhere he goes. In one way he eats music and sleeps music. Personally i prefer listening to music to watching television.

It hasn't taken over my life it just consumes me sometimes and that's all I want to do just listen and relax. I need music right now after the day I've had.

You're not weird at all,i love my music as well.If i'm not listening to a decent song,i'm either playing my guitar or accordion,or i've got the tune and/or lyrics playing in my head lol :)
If i'm being honest i dont know what i'd do without it.I mainly listen to punk,ska,oi! and reggae but Bonnie Tyler,Phil Collins and Kate Bush are a few classics that will never go a miss! So listen to everything and anything and most of all,enjoy your music!!

I'm glad to see I'm not alone. With the first comment I got as a response I was beginning to think I was a weirdo. But majority rules music is in and for all of those that think I'm shutting the world out um ya I am I just want to relax. The world isn't always a nice place to be as some of us haven't noticed yet. oh well thankyou for your comment and agreeing with me on the matter.

That is not weird at all. there are times too, that when i don't feel working,watching t.v. or use computer for work and internet i would simply listen to music just to relax myself and prevent from getting stressed again.i listen to some but unfortunately i don't like them all. some can be quite calm and serene, others are too loud. but it was all relaxed.have a nice day
