So someone hacked my paypal tonight.
They took out $158 total.. they made two payments of $79 to Gameforge Productions GmbH
I changed my password and stuff... I filed a claim with paypal although i can't remember what i said. I think i sounded really stupid and didn't say they right stuff.
I am going to try and call them tomorrow because i think it's too late now. i tried but it didn't go through...
This is SO Annoying!!!!!! god. why do people have to hack other people things? and try to steal money. I really don't feel like dealing with this and my mom is gonna freak on me. I thought i had removed the CC from my paypal too but I guess I didn't.
I sure plan on it as soon as I get this resolved . I only use paypal to buy things online with money i've earned from online.
do people think they will actually get away with it? I mean. like someone isn't gonna notice $158 missing??!
I really hope i can get the money back. I think i should be able too.
i'm kind of confused though.... I only had $20 in my paypal and the rest said it was coming from my bank account... but it does that it usually takes 2-3 days to clear from my account... and it already says "completed" as if it was taken out.
somehow they did a Instant Transfer
i don't even know what the hell Gameforge Productions GmbH is and when i google it i get a website.
this is so annoying. i hate people. stupid hackers.
have you ever had your paypal hacked? did you get it resolved ?? how did it turn out?
sorry this is long... i kind of vented?

One time I had bought something off of Ebay and then realized that I had made a mistake the seller wasn't that great. So I went to Paypal and canceled my payment I did it like within 5 minutes so it went through just fine and I didn't have to pay the guy even though I said I would. Ebay even took him off the sellers because he was a scam artist and was selling trash to people who thought they where getting the actual thing they paid for. I didn't know this until AFTER I had paid for something and then I went an read all his feedbacks I should have read them first before buying anything but a lesson has been learned for me. Anyway if the cancel button isn't there anymore on what that person ordered I don't think it would work but in the future you can cancel something as long as the button is there.

No, I never got this case occur to me. I felt sorry for you though, you should work with paypal to solve this case, and ask them what they should do about security issue. As a paypal user, after I heard your story, I am a little concerned too. I have some money deposited in paypal, and I certainly don't like it to be stolen. It is not our fault, paypal should do a better job to protect their users like us here.

I'm sorry to hear that your PayPal account got hacked and you lost all that money. Hopefully you can get it back and/or those people get caught. That would be great. Unfortunately, I'm sure some people really do believe they can get away with it. Apparently someone accessed my account in March but oddly nothing was out of place. PayPal limited my account so I guess if someone really did, fortunately PayPal acted quickly where the person couldn't do anything. All I need to do is just confirm my credit card and the issue will be completely resolved.

What is going with you is very bad and I consecutive concerned after read your post, perhaps you can report it directly to Paypal. Make sure your password and email address have security access, and ask them to always check the IP address every account who want to open the account. I though my suggestion can be use.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you can check by following the hacker bank account, you must ask to PayPal about it. This is a lesson to us, nothing safe in internet. All we can do just make unpredictable password, maybe we never use the same password and user name in all ours web.
I do not know how they work, and i just can say that.

I'm very sorry to hear that this had happened to you. So far, I had yet to encounter this. However, I will say that for your case, you should immediately report to Paypal on this. In addition, you should make sure that your password is very secure, and should be a mixture of numbers and characters. Do change your password often as well.
These hackers are always looking out for loopholes where they can steal and transfer funds to them. We have to be extra careful in order not to fall into their "trap". I had just received an e-mail from the hackers yesterday to ask me to log-in to Paypal to restore my Paypal account. If anyone had used the links provided in the e-mail address to log in, the hackers will then be able to have access to your Paypal account and do what they want.

That is too bad.I am sorry to read this. But I think this kind of things always happen, and the only thing that we can do is be more careful .Don't use the same password in diffirent sites. Especially your paypal password, should be more complex
than any other passwords you ever use.I hope this don't happen to me ,is relly annoying.

That sucks! I hope it won't happen to me. I don't know how it happened to you but maybe you displayed your Paypal account too much. That's the reason why i don't join other paysites which i think is suspicious because that could be a plot to hacked our accounts. I'm not sure if you'll get your money back but i heard good comments about Paypal when it comes to things like that.

I almost got hacked myself, but thanks it did not happen.. Sometimes this event happen due to lack of security within our computers or login to other computers which we don't know what softwares where installed.
Have you found out what may be the cause why you have been hacked?
How did it happen?
Do you have any idea how the hacker get your account information?
This are the things you must answer to come up with solutions to prevent this hacker from ever stealing your money again..

I'm surprise that they can really hacked the paypal. From what I read on the post here they said that paypal is secure how come this things might happened. I'm so sad about what happen to you. I think I agree to them you need tp widthraw or transfer your money to your bank account immediately. I think paypal is liable to that incident and I hope they going to give it back to you.

This is horrible thing. I think you should act fast with the complaint. For further and future prevention, i think you should change all your security questions and answers, and also your password. Don't use a same password with your email's password. Also don't use your paypal's password with your another password in making money online sites. It doesn't a matter to have a same username for each site, but please make sure you have your password unique for each site. Good luck with your complaint. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

This is the worst thing ever! Did you know PayPal can refund you for money lost though, I think you just send in a support ticket and they will handle it and refund you. I'm sorry to hear this but I do recommend you use another password with a lot of characters.
