My first year of college is done with, and I am so relieved to have gotten through it. Now that I am free to start my summer vacation, I actually have to consider what i will do with it. I might get a job to help pay for my books, and keep up on practicing my instrument for school too. Most of all I just want to spend more time with my boyfriend since I live with him in our first apartment we recently got. It's our first summer together and there are just so many possibilities. What will you do this summer?

i can relate to that. When my sister and I were little every summer our grandma would take care of us while my dad was at work. Then when we got old enough to take care of ourselves we'd still visit her frequently. But, both of them are long gone now. It's still nice to remember though

Good for you on getting through your first year in college. I am well past the college age but I am going to have a busy summer. I am in the UK and am going home to the USA in less than two weeks. My husband is British so a big part of the summer is going to be spent driving back and forth to Chicago to work on getting him a residents visa. We had planned to go to SW Texas to look at an apartment down there which is quite close to the Mexican border but with the Swine Flu thing going on we don't want to risk that. We will be spending most of the time with my children and their families. I hope when we return to the UK it will be our last trip back and that very soon we are back off to the USA permanently. They say it will take us around 6 months to get the visa sorted.

oh its great to spend your vacations with some one you love very much.well and doing a job for getting your books is also a good idea. well for me it my summer vacations too but im feeling too bored in this vacations because none f my friends are here to spend time with me , also my best friend is out of town too.so i don't have nothing with which i can pass my time.so i just sit on mylot earning some dollars , but now this has also become a bit boring because nowadays people do not start interesting discussions.
so for me summers are very boring specially when my best friend is not here.

Ah yeah I don't hang around my friends too much either anymore since high school finished. But yeah I try to conjure up an interesting conversation as much as possible because it keeps Mylot fresh.
