First Time Blogger...First Time in my Lot, too.

My friend helped me make my first blog earlier. I am usually in front of the pc but has never ventured into the blogging life. I was looking for a way to curb boredom and that's why I got into it. It was confusing at first but I think I got the hang of it now. I posted my first two entries and that's it. She gave me some pieces of advice on how to manage it but I am sure that there are still a lot of things that I can learn. Anybody out there who have tips, do help. By the way, I'm also new to myLot so here goes my time...lol...I need more friends, too. Thanks

Welcome to blogging and to MyLot too! I have four blogs and believe me everyone has to start some where. I remember not knowing a thing about how to write a post, comment on other people's blogs, add widgets to my blog, the list goes on and on.
I'd suggest writing every day first. Then get to know other bloggers by joining Twitter and blogging forums. Once you meet bloggers you'll learn that we are helpful to newbies. Don't be afraid to ask questions! And to thank someone, you can comment on their blog and/or you can write about them (linking to one of their blog posts) on your blog.
When you get comments on your blog, be sure to comment back and if you can, reply to their comment on your blog and by email too.
