Nowadays there are so many books on the market and also bookshops which are talking about horoscopes and some of them even have detail analysis for each and every one of the horoscopes such as their characteristics, fortune, who they suits best, their lucky number, and so on. Do you believe in horoscopes? if yes, is it decribes you or your characteristics accurately? How about chinese zodiacs, do you believe in that too?

Yeah, so agree with you that destiny is controlled in our own hands, this saying is cool! Haha. Horoscopes and those fortune telling are just to be used as reference, i think. There's no need to be so into it. Afterall, there's much things we can do to control and make our lives better. Thanks for your comment. :)

You're right, believe in yourself. I do find myself reading the horoscopes in the paper for fun...I kinda believe them when it's good news, but when it's something I don't like, I just don't believe it!!! So I'm a fair-weather fan of horoscopes...it's really just superstition and people make too much out of them. LOL! Happy Monday!

I don't believe in any kind of fortune teller or forecast. But i believe one which is weather forecast. Zodiac is just a sign made by human. Horoscope too. Those are ancient beliefs. But i think nowadays zodiac and horoscope are widely use as a business. Their market is teenagers who strongly believe the zodiac and horoscope forecasting, especially regarding with love. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Ya, you're right. I found that many youngsters nowadays are quite enthusisted and bolieve much in horoscopes, especially about the fortunes and about boys and girls relationship. Me myself do not believe much in this too, i'll just take it as a reference to understand more about my personalities. Thanks for your comment! :)

I don't believe in either. The Zodiac is made up of 12 different sun signs, wherein the date of birth of a person determines the zodiac sign he/she belongs to. It represents the Sign of the Zodiac that the Sun was in at the time of the birth of an individual. It shows the core of the potential and uniqueness as an individual. The Sun Sign represents the main direction and focus one wants to take up in life and the determination to accomplish what one sets out to do.

There are times in my life that I love to read horoscopes. There are times also that what is said in the horoscope base on my zodiac sign is a bit accurate. There are times also that I want to know what will happen today or this week so I read the horoscope. And if there is something that I love to happen, I am so excited for it to happen. There are only rare times that those are false. So, from then on, when I read the horoscope, I just take it lightly because I am aware that it might happen or most of the time it doesn't happen at all.

I read some of it when I found some, but I do not rely on that. I got curious what is instore with me for the day or even for the year but we can't stop destiny as it bounds to happen.Might have pray for everyday that God will allow it to experience some good things and learned from it rather than relying on horoscope.

Ya, believe our life and destiny is fated. Whatever will happen, will happen. Thus, the horoscopes and zodiacs are merely for reference purposes, we'll just take it easy and it should be fine. Thanks for your comment. :)

I'm not so sure that I believe or not . But my mama believe in it .She once got the horoscopes for me from someone . He told my mother who I should marry with ..The one whose birth place is same with me and come from south is not ok . And the one who come from north is best and from east is fine . If I marry with one who come from south , my husband will meet the accident ...so awful :) At the same time , I need marry with one whose age must suit with me :) After that , I choose my partner , I trends consider this factors . I never get the horoscopes from temple place because I don't wanna some one predict me some bad things :) But in rencent . I read the series zodiac books , they tell us some personal character and tell us how to work better with its personal character or get well with others ,all these are okey for me ...

Oh haha, i see. I think the elder generations are more believe in this than we youngsters, especially on those marriage and destiny matters. Anyway, we should only take it as reference and do not totally use it to determine the important things in our life, such as in your case. :) Horoscopes and zodiacs used to know and understand about personalities is fine to do, and i do believe in some of it too. Thanks for sharing your thought. :)

Hi aikhong, Life itself is such a great mystery that it's often difficult to know about such things. I think though that the time of our birth and the location of the heavenly bodies at the time may have some effect on our life. It is even possible that we have lived before on some of these planets and hence it's influence on our present life. Horoscopes as found in newspapers and magazines are far too general and would not be very helpful but a personal reading may give us some insight. The greatest influence on our present lifetime probably comes from other incarnations in the earth. Blessings.

However, i do believe that there're some effects of the location and time of our birth on our life too. These are one of the chinese beliefs. Thanks for your comment. :)

Not at all. I'm an atheist and I don't fancy believing in anything unscientific, including the contemporary existence of the Almighty! However, I hate preaching what I practise! I always encourage people to believe in such stuff. There are a host of reasons for this. The most prominent one is a psychological take. If you notice, most horoscopes tell you that something positive is going to happen (If it's negative, they provide a solution too!) This simply builds up your mind for a pleasing and confident future, which obviously is required for anyone! It gives you a specific direction for action. So, if you do believe, I'd support you wholeheartedly to continue believing. If you don't, well.... the cat's already out of the bag. I'm helpless! lol!!

I see, you do have your point here. Perhaps, that's one of the reasons the predictions done on the horoscopes are accurate sometimes, it may be a kind of 'mental game', for those who likes to listen, then it might seem true for them, and not on the other hand. Thanks for your comment. :)

It seems more girls than boys tend to believe zodiacs. Some of the saying in those books might match your situation and will make you believe in it. My opinion it that there is always a long description under each zodiac category, some of the content in its list coincidentally matches your characteristics or what had happened to you, which makes you believe or even crazy about it. But don't believe there are also items which are not your case. The lesson here is people tend to believe what he/she wants to believe and ignore those that are not interested.

Oh seems like you're quite sure on this, have you seen any statistics saying girls are more believe in horoscopes than guys?haha..just joking. Ya, i do agree with your points here. People tend to believe those they want to believe but will just ignore those which are saying bad or not related to them. Anyway, actually those descriptions on horoscopes do have their own studies behind and seems like it also has its accuracy to certain extent. Thanks for your comment. :)

Ups and downs are the norms in life. Do not get too upset when you're in the down. Afterall, you're the one who has the full control of your life. Horoscopes and zodiacs are just a reference. Good luck to you, and thanks for your sharing! Cheers. :)

One has to surely believe in horoscopes because there is nothing that cannot be controlled by the movements of the planets and the time of our birth has a lot to do with our behaviour and life. To be born at the correct time and place also adds to our future life!

I don't believe in horoscopes telling the future, but I tend to believe that planets can have subtle effects on what happens. If the moon's gravity can pull the tide and it's been discovered that a full moon can have effects on mentally ill people, then why wouldn't other planets have some sort of effect? I know it cannot be proved, but it is a very interesting concept. Having said that, I have read my horoscope in the past and have found it to be uncannily accurate.. -= Derek

Hm...that's the interesting and yet mysterious part of it. It's indeed the science, study of astrology has been going on for a long period. I believe there's some sort of truth behind all these. Anyway, for horoscopes we'll just take it as a reference in our lives, and it should be fine. Thanks for your comment. :)

Actually I don't believe in horoscope, only god knows everything and why, if your life depends on it(horoscope)... it is worthless.. even sometimes horoscope coincides about our life. but it doesn't mean that could be you have expected.. my advise i think prayer is the best horoscope in your life.
