Having worked a lot of customer service jobs, I was wondering the other day if there is a single thing someone can do that gives you a positive impression of a business? Skill at a particular job? A friendly and upbeat attitude? What makes the biggest impression on you when you walk into a store or business?

If I am greeted with a smile and a cheerful attitude this gives me a very favorable impression of a business and even if I can't do business with them that first time I will tell others and come back when I can.
