paper bills and coins....

My brst friend is quite the coin collector, she has books to store the coins in an oderely fashion, plascit sleeves to protect the bills, one of those magnifying eyeglas things to examine her collection and reference books to identify the items, their rarity, how many in production, etc. I just keep coins that look weird... I usually end up giving them to her. ;D

I collect coins that I have accumalated over the years but I haven't gotten any in a while. I love to get some from any where over seas. I find them very interesting. I love looking at how things change and why they do it. I keep my coins in a velvet bag in my closet. I'm looking to get a display case for them one day.

I have a small cedar chest that I got when I graduated from high school (every senior graduate received one), and that is where I keep old money, unusual coins and bills, and some coins a French pen pal sent me. My first boyfriend once found a an 1886 silver dollar on the rail road tracks and gave it to me. It is in perfect condition. I'll leave it for my oldest grandchild when I pass on.

I'm a coin collector. But i only collecting unique and limited edition coins. I think those are more valuable in the future. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

yes, i have old paper bills and old coins, i collect them, some are in my wallet others in a jar, i liked looking at them too, reminds me of my childhood. also i show them to my kids, coins here now are smaller compared to the coins we had before. some of the paper bills we have before are gone now, they made it into coin, then abolished it. i still have some of those kept...

I haven't this habbit, but I will give to Mum when get the old coins or paper bill, she likes to collect because they have ability to appreciate.
