Do you use coupons? Why or why not? If you use coupons, how much do you save on average each month? Do you have favorite coupons?
We use lots of coupons in our family. I get them from the paper, the internet, and right from the manufacturer. We use them on everything and save an average of 80% on our food bill. Since the beginning of the year we've saved thousands. My favorite coupons are any coupons that make an item free. For instance, a .75 coupon that will triple at our local grocery store to 2.25, making a 2.00 item completely free. I love free groceries! What about you?

WOW, where do you shop that gives you triple coupon value???
I would like to find somewhere like that where I live. I live in the state of Georgia in the U.S.
I clip coupons from our Sunday paper and sometimes get some from the internet, but because we are on a limited budget, I only buy things we REALLY need, and I don't always have coupons for those things. Such as meat, fruits and vegetables, etc.
I do find coupons on things sometimes that will go on sale at the local stores for "Buy 1 get 1 free" and then I use the coupon and pretty much get both of them for free or close to free. That's always nice.

I am in North Carolina and here, Bloom and Harris Teeter both triple once a month. Bloom just finished a weekend long triples. A couple of weeks ago, Harris Teeter had an entire WEEK of triple coupons. I try to avoid grocery shopping until those triples come around because I save so much money that way. Of course, I can't do that for the produce which I need to have right away, but I find ways to save on that, too. For instance, our local grocery store had a catalina deal where if you bought six bbq sauce you'd get 3 bucks off your next order. Well, the coupons for the bbq sauce made them free, meaning they PAID you to buy the bbq sauce. Anyway, I got a bunch of coupons for the bbq sauce and then used the catalina printouts to pay for produce. Free produce and bbq sauce. Can't beat that!

I always say that I want to move to NC. Now I have another reason! We don't have those two stores here, unfortunately. That would be awesome to get triple coupon. Here, there were a few places that used to do DOUBLE coupons, now no where even does that anymore!!
SO, Lucky you!!!

Hi abkinsey! I use coupons all the time. There are no triple or double coupon stores close to where i live, but i save a good bit on my grocery bill evry month. I get my coupons like you from the internet, manufactures, and from the Sunday paper. I try to use my coupons when items are on sale to help lower the cost even more and to save me more money on the grocery bill, and be able to buy other items that are a treat for my family.

My partner and I love using coupons especially when we find really good ones we can use. We don't get as much of a savings as you have but we aren't as advanced in the art of coupon shopping as some! lol We hope to though because getting that much of a savings on our food bill in the future would be wonderful! I may have to hone my skills in coupon shopping now.

I hardly ever use coupons. I really should as we are a family of 5 and soon to be 6. I used to use coupons but then slacked of as the children got older. I think I am going to start using them again as I am going to need the extra money each month with a new baby. I am just going to have to try to find the time to clip or print them.
