How do you live your faith? I'm not asking what your beliefs are. Rather, how do you walk the walk?
For me, the spirituality is a way of life. I am in a routine of praying throughout the day informally and then praying formally at least twice. I try to treat others how I would want to be treated, and I try to spread my blessings around to others in need. I find myself aware of the Spirit of God being with me and I try to focus on that.
Of course, I do mess up and have bad days like anyone else. It's then that I try to ask for forgiveness and get back on track in terms of focusing on the Spirit of God.

Hi abkinsey, Religion and faith is all about a way of life, I am not religious, in fact the word gives me goosebumps, but I am spiritual. We do not need to ask God for anything for the universal mind knows all our needs without our asking. I try to live my faith and think anything else simply makes no sense. Living the golden rule as you mention is the way I try to live my life. I am human, so of course I often fail. I don't have to confess to a God who understands whether I'm really trying or not. My prayers are prayers of gratitude my faith is that before I ask, it is answered. Affirmative prayer helps because it helps change us, nothing changes God.To me life itself is a prayer, every thought, every word, every action. Blessings.

Ah, I see you are a mystic. :-)
Have you read any Howard Thurman? He is my absolute favorite Christian mystic theologian. If you haven't yet, you might check out "Jesus and the Disinherited." I was introduced to him while working on my master's in seminary and was totally enthralled. :-D

how do I live my faith? By living, thinking, feeling and acting with loving kindness and being mindful..I am openminded and have a very open heart. I realize and act on the fact that everyone has a story to tell..and we all need someone to not only listen but to hear ya know...I respect all living things to the best of my ability (though I do have those off days ya know)..I realize that all things are connected and have "life" flowing through them and I respect that..I take responsiblity for my actions and dont do the whole "the devil made me do it" thing (mind you I dont believe in the devil but you get what I mean I'm sure)..I know that everything happens for a reason and there are lessons to be learned and taught in every single thing that happens in our lives....those are just a small few things..there is much more though...
