I was talking to a friend today who is thinking of visiting Israel. I was able to think back over ten years ago to the wonderful trip that I had there. My friend is very religious so should enjoy it there. I have happy memories of visiting the Dome of the Rock, The Church of the Nativity and seeing the Western Wall. I loved floating in the Dead Sea. It is an amazing country. My friend doesn't like very hot weather so I suggested spring or autumn but not summer.
Do you like to think back to past travels?
Which vacations do you have most fond memories of?

I do, from time to time, but most of the time I am busy planning new trips, which is more fun anyway. But I used to take a lot of photos when I travelled, so I look at the pics sometimes, which brings back a lot of memories, of course.

I didn't travel a lot! I don't have so much time! What a pity! Also, if I travel to a far far away country, I doubt I can afford it! Maybe I can spend an arm and a leg on the travel, but I should know that I have to worry about my future study! haha
However, next month, I will trave to an island with some young people! If the waves are big enough, we'll go surfing. That will be pretty fun!

I have fond memories of visiting Rome as we just had such a good time there! The food, sights and hotel we stayed in were all brilliant and one day i would love to return but, for now there are many other destinations that I want to visit that I haven't seen yet, first!

I think back to places I've traveled all the time, most especially when I'm at work because I do a job that requires no though whatsoever and I'm the only one that speaks english. I have very fond memories of my trip to Guadaloupe and also to Quebec. Both were for learning purposes, but I had so much fun learning that it's nice to remember all that and try to remember my french. It's very hard to keep up with my french when everyone I work with speaks spanish. I pick up words here and there when they're talking and when I'm conjugating in my head or something to pass time at work spanish always creeps in and kills it.
