How do you make thugs who terrorize you stop?

Yes you can get the cops involved - especially if this is gang related - not you, them. When it involves "fear for your life" - it's time to get the authorities somewhat involved in the issue. As someone said already, you should get yourself involved in a self-defense class (and your daughter). People are evil, especially if you have something that they want. Also inform your neighbors about your worries - so that they'll keep an eye not just on your but the neighborhood in general. I wish all the best for you and yours.

I understand that you have physical disabilities, that make you vulnerable and that you are also planning to move. I would, however, send my daughter to self defense classes. Tae Kwon Do or other classes give a young person a sense of self confidence. They do not have to use the tools they have, it is just a gift to give them the tools. I imagine she is terrified for you as well as for herself, and the terror feeds the hateful people. I do not know if you can get a protection order because of this, or not.

hi five months late on this but if they are stillstalking you and you and they are in a store,go to the store manager,tellhim about the thugs and he will call security and the security men will stop the thugs. Also go to the police and take out restraining order against these ' thugs.

Okay im a honest person and yes i used to hang out with what you call "thugs" more than likely there not as hard as they come off to be...Get one by themself and they'll run. Not thats usually what happens if they get by themself which your not likely to see one by themselfs ever because they always got to have someone to back them up. I know a lot of "thugs" that are just a bunch of teenagers who want to be hard and make people scared of them if they got in one little fight or beat one person up but there not as hard as they seem. Alot of people are scared of these type of people however im not and never will be ive never taken classes to defend myself but when and if it came down to it, it was natural to me and i could defend myself.and have had to do it a few times.i dont want this to sound rude but get a back bone and stand up to them let them know or even "beleive" your not scared of them sometimes works and they can tell when you fear them but if its gang related then as the others have said get the cops in it because ive hung out with these type of people for years and i can tell you it can be dangerous for yourself and your daughter. Alot of gang members usually dont care if your a female or not they will come after you and its not just one of them its alot of them and surely no one wants to see anyone get hurt or well i wouldnt. But all and all if i was already in fear then id take some classes to learn to defend myself....but even some of these class you can take may not help depends on how serious it gets cause you cant defend yourself and a bullet lol just common sence and even sometimes you cant defend yourself against a knife or well you can but your probably going to get cut at some point in time. But seriously though id probably go ahead and contact your local police department to let them know the situation that way if something does happen (hoping it dont) but if it did then they would know exactly what they are dealing with. Go to the police at tell them what is going on and file a complaint. They should be able to find these thugs and do something about this. Its terrible that you have to deal with such stupidity. Good Luck and Be Strong!
