As I predicted - the Rockets were blown out by the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe didn't even take that many shots! Great defense this afternoon - it was almost flawless. Totally enjoyed the game.
Anyways, Lakers vs. Nuggets is comin' up. Should be pretty interesting. Of course I'll pick the Lakers - they're my team! Take your pick!

The Nuggets have Melo and Chauncey - ever thought about that? Their presence in the middle is almost non-existent, Nuggets that is. That's where the Lakers need to pound the ball.
Both teams can score - no doubt about it. The team with the best defense will definitely win, and I think that's where the Lakers will get them.
Thanks for the input.
Let's go Lakers, let's go!

LOL did you predict that the series would go 7... i think not... and ima take the nuggets in 7.. reason being is they have that championship swag right now and i think that billups will put them over the top and in to the finals to face the cavs

"championship swag" huh?
Obviously you watch the half-time report shows! =P
And you're right, I didn't think the Lakers will take it to game 7 against Houston. In fact, I predicted game 5.
Let's just see how the series rolls. =)

The Lakers played way too inconsistently against an undermanned Rockets team. L.A. should have won that series in 5 games and instead needed 7. They can't play that way and expect to beat a full powered Nuggets team in a 7 game series. Denver in 6.

Good answer - and I most definitely agree with you. They played the score wayyy too much - and they also played with the mind set that they swept Houston during the regular season. Thus, they expected them to just roll over and give the game to them.
However, who is the say that they will be inconsistent playing against Denver?
As long as the Lakers pound them in the center with Bynum and Pau .... and Mr. Martin does is crap-talk with the Black Mamba to set him off and sting Denver- then the Lakers are set. =P
Lakers in 7.
...and eventually the champs! IT'S OUR TIME, BABY!!

I am so tired of the Lakers. I really wished that Houston would have won. But I am also realistic. Even though I want Denven to win I still think it will go to at least 6 games. Can't wait until the finals Cleveland vs Lakers. East coast baby!

I'm sorry to hear that you're TIRED of the Lakers - I mean, after all - they have the most championship rings in the NBA! If I don't live in SOCAL, I'd probably be sick of the Lakers too.
NOT!
Hahahahaha - I don't really know. I've never lived anywhere else. Lakers are the best - is all I know. =P

I think this is safe to say. If the Lakers play against Denver the way the played the Rockets they won't be going to the final. Lakers have to stop screwing around and get down to business. I think they are the better team but just having the talent isn't going to give anyone tickets to the championship.

i will definitely go with the lakers too and i do support the lakers. i am a suns fan but too bad they did not make the playoffs. its just sad that stoudemire had to bow out just when we acquire a new head coach. in any case, lakers should come out on top from this series and dam right they can win both cavaliers or orlando in the finals. david stern, carve them lakers logo on the rings NOW.

I'll pick for the Lakers vs. the Cavaliers in NBA Finals. I like to win the Lakers for coach Jackson 10 Championship and the Cavs also for Lebron James' first ring.

I think this will be a great series, a tough one for the Lakers but I think they pull it out in 6 or 7. My reason being that I don't think the Lakers will play as bad on the road against the Nuggets. Kobe is averaging 30 plus against the Nuggets and I think that will be the deciding factor. I think the Rockets had a better defense with the physical play of Battier and Artest.. I don't think you will see the same from the Nuggets. I see these games being high scoring and interesting, but I think the Lakers have way too much talent for the Nuggets.
