I'm trying to beat lazy-ness.
What i mean is working out, eating healthy, etc.
First week I can do it then it gets overwelming.
So how do you beat it? what are your tips?

By making small changes gradually you have a better chance of making them into habits which in turn make them a part of your routine. For example, if you don't drink enough water, (and most of us don't), start by doing that. It's easy and doesn't require a lot of effort. If you already work out, try to change your workout a bit so it doesn't get boring. During the longer summer days, I'll switch from weight and aerobic training, to cycling and walking or jogging. I always try to find new healthy recipes to try out. Before you know it, you'll be doing all the right things which will give you a lot of energy and make laziness a thing of the past. Good Luck!

do things in bits not all at once it wont seem as much then, start one week by doing one thing to overcome lazyness then just add one thing a week before you know it they will all be embedded in your routine andf then you will have forgotten all about lazyness lol!! good luck and let me know if you are going to follow my advice!!

Hi there - my problem isn't exactly laziness, it is having the time to do the things I know will make me more healthy. I am a chef, and work long hours, in a hot kitchen. This in itself is very draining, but can't really be counted as exercise. I find the best thing is to make a self-commitment, say to go to the gym twice a week, and actually fix a time and a day. There is no need to do too much at first, as that will defeat the object by making it a chore, and then you won't want to do it. Once you have got yourself into that routine, add something else, for example, walking or swimming - something you enjoy doing anyway. You should remember to increase your water intake when you increase your exercise, and don't forget to ensure that you have fresh fruit and plenty of fresh vegetables (cooked in water containing a little natural grey sea salt). This helps to keep your kidneys working properly.
Overall, if you plan to do something you don't enjoy doing - it won't work. You have to make yourself the promise, and stick to it. Better still, find a buddy to exercise with, and then it is not only yourself you are letting down. It is also best to join a gym where you have a personal trainer - they will encourage you, and you will feel that you ought to go - no more laziness!!!
Good luck - I'll be at the gym on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week - what about you?
