Do you always put yourself in budget?

So, do you always put yourself in budget? I meant you won't overspend the money you made, and you like to keep it in shape. For instance, if I make $400 a week, I would use half of it to pay off my debt, and another half for saving. I would also like to get a part - time for my pocket money.

Yes, I always budget. I have two to three areas of savings in my budgets. One is long term, this is money I do not touch unless there is an extreme emergency, such as illness or prolonged unemployment. Two would be a shorter term of saving. It would be used for the purchase of larger items, such as an auto, but more likely to be household appliance like a new refridge. The third savings would be more of a 'mad money' area. For those times when I just need to do something special. Like going for a weekend at a motel or something.

Yes, I plan what to do with my money before I get it, then pretty much stick to the plan. It's the only way to stay in control that I know of. It's much too easy to overspend otherwise.

I just recently made a budget for myself. I have been following it really well. I spend a lot of money on groceries so I am doing things to help this. I am not going to the store but once a week so that I dont spent a bunch of money with random items each time I go there. I also am only spending 20 dollars a week for groceries.

My problem is I always have trouble in budgeting my money. Every time my parents will send me my allowance for the month, I end up buying the unnecessary stuff...and I hate myself for not being a wise-spender.

I have learned how to budget my money since I was 15 yrs old and it's the best way that I know to manage my money. If I don't do it, then I'll be in big trouble. Setting a budget has many benefits. You keep track of payments, you don't overspend your money, and you always know what is scheduled for payment or savings. you can also add reminders on your budget like when to buy a birthday present, anniversary present or holiday presents.

I make a plan for what i need the money for - a certain amount for fun a certain amount per bill a certain amount for travel to work and for food, for savings. Every once in a while something big like a bill for my car repair or a visit to the vet comes up that knocks my budget out of wack and i end up "owing" my savings.

I do put myself on a budget. I tend to not overspend and make sure that I can pay my expenses and put some money down on my debt. I would only make purchases that I need especially during a time when the economy isn't so great. For myself, I work two jobs, one helps pay my debt, bills and expenses and I consider the other one to be my pocket money/savings. This is actually a great way to plan but I would like to sit down one day and really plan on how I'm going to budget my money and in detail make a breakdown of an allowance I have for myself. Just like some, I also have a "rainy day stash."
