Does not "LIFE" encompass all the mylot discussion topics?

Sometime I wonder as I am about to start a new discussion. When I see all the discussion subjects I see all they are parts of our life. Say listening, learn another language, love, lover, paranoid,women,people, family, pets, and all other as well are just the other name of the parts of Life?
Does this mean this way that "LIFE" is too vast a subject to discuss and hence there is a need of specialization? Or is it a way to minimise the subject to understand better? Or say how could "life" be different from "people"?
Even being so microscopic have we really dissected them well and learnt the inner self of the objects or the issues? Just reflect upon the so many recurring discussion topics at mylot. Sometime you do not see any suitable topic to respond as well.
May be I am incorrect but thing is not totally out of context.
Please share your opinion too.

Hello my friend krajibg Ji,
It is very difficult to describe 'life' in nut-shell. It comes by experiences. Great
people have been trying to find out 'truth' about life. Every member around the globe
is busy leading his/her own way to live life. Some live positive ways and some think
dark part of the life. Life is full of ups and down. It is never the same. All
responses made here differ, even a person would differ from his/her earlier writing.
I believe life is beutiful. Let's live.

I think it's done so that you can easily seek out your interests within discussions. If "Life" encompassed all of the discussions, you wouldn't know which area of life it was about, or whether you wanted to respond, so it's split down into categories of interest.

Life to me is like an ocean and all the emotions are like islands. They are all interconnected but each an individual in its own rights. So if we speak of life in general, we would not be able to know each emotion thoroughly...all the nuances and colours of emotions are what make life so interesting. So I think each and every mood of ours, our every thought, every understanding, needs a different category for expression. Life is there in all its glory, but the components of life are no less glorious.

That is the right answer. Actually I was trying to see how people react to this for this is not unknown to me that life in one word can not be discussed unless we segment it into say different emotions.

Well I think our participation in mylot is similar in some cases to writing our biographies. If we could put all the questions together and gather all the answers we gave, we could learn a lot about ones life. What kind of food they like, if they are sick, have they had a bad relationship, what they like and dislike..Who needs to write a book...Just read mylot!!

I think there is a time for specialization and a time for vast generalization. When I see the interest "Life" come up, and there are several of them on Mylot I typically think of the journey of life, those experiences that we have that enrich our lives, etc. I think of the other interests as specific to a question to make it easy to find. Mylot, reminds me very much of a large filing cabinet. Sometimes you need a large green folder marked "Auto" to cover all of your auto expenses, but then you need manila folders to find specific things such as car insurance, car repairs, car receipts, maitenance, tags, licenses, etc. The same is true on Mylot. We need the ability to speak of things in general, but when needed for ease of finding something we need very specific interest groups so that the information can be easily dealt with.

Are there not many variations on any one given theme? The more specific we can be with our discussions the more our responses will reflect what we are truly interested in.

Life as we know it does encompass everything that we are, and everything we always will be and is the Basis for being here in myLot starting New discussions and responding back to others discussions that they have started here as well. We all experience and go thru a lot of things. We all have different memories and advice that we can share. Here we can often learn from others while finding out what we are going thru is far from unique as well.

I believe that if we can focus on minds in the here and now, we can see life as Self. That is, we create out life and we are (i.e. I-am consciousness) is the space in which life unfolds. It encompasses the infinitely small and infinitely large. It is the essence of the universe - here and now. It always was and is.

Hi derek, your appreciation is nice to read. Yes this encompasses the tiniest of the subject and largest of the large. This is why mylot attracts and some people like you and me and many other as well get stuck.

Hi Rajib, You do make a good point and indeed life would cover most topics. I choose life when I feel that the topic is general to most people but for example, I want to write about the Bible, I would not consider it a topic for everyone. I guess we need different categories because some people might want to write about their pets and others have no interest in the subject at all. Blessings.

Hello Madam, you are not incorrect but if we look deep into the issue even our having pets is attached to our life. Is not it? Even the Bible is not detached from human beings, no doubt there are particular people only who are more conversant with bible but there are still some people like me who even not being a Christian know the Bible and love to know this further. But you have a point.
