Our cat didn't like our place = (

Hi!
Ok well, My sister went on a vacation for a couple of weeks so she wanted me to take care of her cat. So before sis left for her vac, my hubby and I drove to my sis house to get the cat and when we brought him home to my place, he got scared I don't know why. So for the whole night til the next day, he stayed hidden under the bed and also in the laundry room behind the washer. I guess he missed my sis' house so much and can't stand other places. lol. I felt bad for the cat so I told my other sis to get him the next day since he wouldn't eat or anything. I didn't want him to starve to death.
I'm glad he's back to normal again. Being at my sis' home again = ). It was kind of a weird experience.

Pets will usually recognise their home and their owner, especially when they have been adapted to the place and the owner for a long period of time.
To what I think, your sis's cat must have thought that your sis doesn't want him anymore, thus the change of environment. That's why he refused to eat and went into hiding.
It is good to know that your sis is back and he is back to normal.

Hi!
Thanks for your response! Seems like you have a lot of knowledge about animals and that is a plus, hehe. Well my sister isn't back yet. My other sister picked him up to take him home. The one that really owns him spoils him a lot and maybe that's what he misses. She'd treat him like her own child and I think it's cute but I notice that when she kisses him on the nose, he really enjoys it lol.
I always feel that pets need love too. I can understand your sister. In this case, I think I have spoilt my dog too.
