our eyes is the window to our soul, without it, life is colorless and everything is black, our eyes is one of the basis of our beauty. for me, i take care of my eyes by making sure that i didn't read at dark places and make sure that i rest it after facing the computer or reading magazines at long hours. how about you? how do you take care of it, are you now using eye glasses?

Eyes are so important to your life. For some time, my right eye lost sight. After operation a month or so ago, it got recovered as good as 1.0. But since then, my left seemed to get worse. The doctor does not recommend to have operation on the left one right now. My old glasses do not work now, and it would take two more months for a new pair of glasses. Meanwhile, reading is a bit problem. Everyone should take good care of the eyes, before they cause problems.

I guess that's one of my problems, I don't get to care for my eyes at all. I'm really negligent when it comes to my body and I usually forget to take care of myself. When it comes to taking care of my eyes, I don't get to at all. I always read in dark places and in moving vehicles. I guess I need to take care of my eyes starting now before it gets too late.

Yes I take care of my eyes and I do where glasses but its to see distances. I just had a check up about a month ago and there was little change at all in my prescription. Which of course I was very happy about. I usually use my glasses only while driving, movies, tv and to see far distances. Plus I take breaks from the computer.

Thanks to your discussion, I actually remembered to put my glasses on! LOL. Well, I don't know if I'm doing a great job in taking care of my eyes. I hava astigmatism that's why I need to wear glasses. As of now, I'm not yet fully used to it. For 15 years, I lived my life without wearing eyeglasses then suddenly, I am forced to wear one everyday. But I kinda like my glasses, it's kinda cool wearing one and my friends tell me it suits me. Anyway, I make sure that after I use the computer, I rest my eyes for a while before I take a bath. I think that's the only thing I do to take care of my eyes. And oh! I also avoid reading at dark areas.

i do the same too. i don't have plans to wear eyeglasses at this age. it's inconvenient for me and especially when i tend to forget things. i don't wash my eyes after long exposure to computers or very light areas. i also wear shades when i'm out and exposed in the sun.

Yes, I have to wear glasses whenever I read now that I've gotten older. I have nearsightedness in one eye and astigmatism in the other. I also have my eyes checked about every six months. I think this is important for everybody but especially for older people. I don't consider myself old yet, LOL, but I'm middle-aged. I also have to put drops in my eyes all the time. I have bad dry eyes! I use Restasis twice a day and Systane Eye Drops whenever I need them. Since I've been on Restasis I don't need the Systane as much as I used to use them. Kathy.
