Which anti-virus do you use and is that effective?

I use Norton Antivirus from Last 4 Years. I work Best for Me

I used Avira AntiVir Personal , it is a free anti virus software. So far, I find this free anti virus software is not bad. of course, if you want to use more feature,you can always upgrade it to Avira AntiVir Premium or Avira Premium Security Suite by paying a license fee.

In the market,there is lot of anti virus software available and we can also download some free version from the net.I think it is better to purchase a licensed version of anti virus software,so that we can update it with out any problem.I am using NOD32 anti virus software in computer for the last three years and this software is working very finely for me with out any problem.I have also tried softwares like Norton and Kasper sky,but after the installation the system performance is very slow,so i uninstalled it.

i am using AVG anti-virus and it is protecting my computer since 3 years. My system is in quite good condition and i don't go to the sites that which add adware or some harmful malwares on to my computer. Even if i surf by mistake my anti-virus alerts me and soon i will divert my surfing or browsing.

Dear one I use the ESET SMART SECURITY..a nice anti virus software. I have been using for a long time ,never ever got trouble in my PC. i WOULD SUGGEST OTHER TO USE THIS ONE.

I'm a fan of Mcafee as well, I've used that the longest out of any anti virus I know. However on this computer I use AVG anti virus as well as Spy Bot Search and Destroy. Both programs have saved me from some bad stuff on multiple occasions and work together without slowing my computer down.
