Which is Better - Website or Blog?

I pick blogging. Am I right, well am I?? Okay, seriously. I much prefer blogs over static web sites but I wouldn't give up on web sites either as I use web sites to point my blog post to so I can make more money online. Example: I have 4 fishing blogs but I also have two BANS sites where I sell other people's fishing products on eBay. The products aren't mine and the listings aren't mine either but when I sell something eBay takes some of their earnings and shares it with me. So I use blogs and web sites to make money. Now if I had to make a choice blogs would win hands down as I can point to anything I would like from my blog posts to make money.
