I scheduled it every end of the week, Friday. Cookies are sometimes harmful to our computers since most malicious viruses came from them but I cannot totally delete cookies because I need it for some of my work. To compensate for this, I am using a very good, updated anti-virus.

I always deleted my cookies after close my brwoser. I am setting automatically. I do not allow cookies because of some reason. I want my ram memories are not fullfilled with data that i do not use anymore.
For me, allow cookies it mean eating out our ram. And could cause our access or activity became slower.

I learned only recently that we need to delete cookies from time to time to increase speed. My way is using a software called 360, and I can also do it from internet explorer. But after the cookies are deleted, I do not feel any difference it makes. The computer is still at the speed of about 100 mbps, rather slow.
What else can I do? Do I have to delete photo files as well?

Hi Dhawanbm,
I set clear cookies every browser close. Thus I do not need to arrange a special schedule.

I usually do them every week. It's good for a healthy computer.
I use the following softwares:
*C-Cleaner
*AVG anti spyware.
They help in maintaining a healthy registry too.

Correct, if you don't delete them, they go play with our computer. Moreover, more cookies would mean more peering eyes and tracking. I really don't like that..
In cookies there is information that a website stores in our computer. The website saves a complimentary file in their computer too. And the next time they identify us... that's not good everytime. It increases the chances of infection. And so I delete them every week!
