As an OFW or maybe even second generation citizen in somewhere as the UK or U.S. for example do you feel different to the people around you. The reason I ask is a lot of people when im home in Cebu say im more local than they are (although im not a Pinoy) because of the way i am.. But when im in the UK i feel lost as i no longer see it as home but more of doing an assignment before heading back home to Cebu. Most of my friends are Pinay and Pinoy.. as i find most of my old friends really dont understand the Philippines or most of the things im interested in. Almost like living in a different world.

Wow, you are a rare breed (no pun intended). It's very seldom to see a non-Filipino who feels more at home in the Philippines than in his native country.
Anyway, probably you have immersed yourself well in Cebu. In other words, you have developed a sense of cultural literacy about Cebuanos (or Filipinos for that matter). May I ask how long have you been living in Cebu? Probably, the length (and/or quality) of time that you have been spending in Cebu has eroded somewhat your cultural literacy about the UK and its people.

Im in and out of the Philippines regular but im still only on my second year. But its definitly my home and where i am happiest. Im also naturally never a tourist. Even when i travel other parts of the world i soon disappear from the tourist traps and head into the local areas. In Greece for example i spent most of my time with the guys who owned the hotel, car hire company and other businesses rather than the usual trails. There are some big advantages including the fact the car hire guy rented me his car on a cash deal which saved me a few Euros aswell as going to some sites that arent open to the general public. Im pretty much a world traveller and have lived all over the world but Cebu is my home..
