LitterMain NOT Recomended

I intentionally for the LitterMaid Ultra because it featured a rake that was removable. This way if the rake got dirty I could remove it and clean it. Well, 7 months in the rake itself broke. So I emailed the company asking if I could be a separate rake replacement. Well I could, so I spent $30 – US – to get a spereate rake. Within in 6-7 months that rake breaks. For a product that retails at $200 – US – it’s made with cheap matierial. I don’t recommend buying a LitterMaid unless you like spend $30 every 6 months.

That really sucks! I hate when there is an important piece that is made cheaply!
Would you be able to make a rake on your own? That way you would at least still be able to use the litter box without having to worry about scooping it all of the time.
I appreciate the warning! I think I will stick with the old-fashioned litter box. No worries about anything breaking!
