you can get patches now to wear on your skin to help you with everything from quitting smokeing to birthcontrol.... i had a thought while swimming in the pool yeaterday.... y is it that the salt from a salt water pool doesnt go into your skin and make you sick..or could it?

Well, your body only releases salt, it does not take in salt, but you do absorb a bit of water, thats why your fingers prune up.
Also, I really don't see how salt could potentially make you sick, guess too much is a bad thing, but seeing as we don't absorb it, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Just like the ocean, you can stay in as long as you want, and the only thing that might happen to you is getting a rash, haha.
