My husband and I are trying to get to all 50 states. Right now I need 4 more, and he needs 6 more. We're going to Connecticut and Maine on June 8. After that, I'll just need Rhode Island and Alaska!! Is anyone else trying to do the whole country? I know there are lots of people out there from other countries, and geography and social studies were my favorite subjects...if not from USA, where are you all from? Great day to everybody!!

Hi marcyyyy...Sure sounds like you have had a great adventure visiting all of our states. Which one was your favorite ? What was your most favorite place did you visit in this state. I have been to quite a few states and have probably flown over most of the but Alaska and Hawaii but visiting each one would sure be nice. flutterby

Hi! It's funny cos one of my friends just asked me the other day what my favorite place was...I don't know!!! I loved Colorado, so much to see and so beautiful! Oregon is great with it's beautiful coastline, waterfalls, and the Cascade Mountains. Hawaii was the first place I'd ever seen palm trees and of course, beautiful...Those are the standouts right now!! Bye Flutterby!

I have been to about 20 states. Some day, I would like to have visited all of them! I think that every state has something unique to offer. My problem is that I could do so much in all of them! I wouldnt know how to choose which places to go! Another of my lifetime goals is to visit all of the continents, excluding Antarctica. So far, I have only been to North America and Europe. I have heard some amazing things about the others! South America has an allure that it is less touched by tourism. I love places like that. Asia is a completely different set of cultures that I would like to experience first hand. Africa has destinations like no other! I love nature, so I would like to see what it has to offer. I have always been told how beautiful Australia is. I want to see for myself! If only I could spend all of my time travelling! Then these goals might happen much sooner!

I agree with you about the continents...however, I would not exclude Antarctica. I find it a very fascinating place to try to visit! In fact, I have some sort of desire to visit polar regions...I've had that desire since I was small. I hope you get to do all the travel you want!!

I know the USA is huge and it has 50 states so visiting them all must be quite a challenge. You are doing excellently to have seen that number of states. You only need to visit 4 more states so that won't be too difficult. I come from Europe so it is far from where I live. So far in my life I have been to California three times and to Hawaii once. Good luck with your dream of visiting every state.
