Pool.? sea?lake?ocean?where do you like swimming more?

Summer is here, and is so hot weather...we need and like swimming, like to have tan skin, no clothes, freedom, sun, water, play games...is the best way to relax in the summer.
Where do you like swimming? In the pool or to sea, or why not in the ocean?

I know I'll probably get some heat for this because I can't really swim... therefore I prefer a pool over a lake or the ocean cuz I can't really swim with everybody else =( It's heartbreaking I know, everyone seems shocked when I say I don't know how to swim... but it never holds me back, I still go the beach and stuff.. I love it, I just don't go out too far, lol.

well, maybe it's time for you to learn. the summer is coming, so it's a good time for you to ask someone to teach you how. just pick a place where there aren't many people, and go for it!

The only reason I'd encourage you to leearn to swim is for your own safety, you never know when the ability to swim could save your life.
As far as you preferring man made pools to lakes and the ocean - I'm right there with you! Pools are cleaner (yay chemicals), no animals to think of, no tides to catch you, you're more likely to be within a short distance to a hospital, there is almost always a restroom within walking distance, and going swimming in a concrete pool is so convenient you don't have to make a day of it; you can go swimming then to dinner and a movie then to the mall...
The only other way I like swimming is in the Frio River down in Texas - crystal clear water, tubes to float on, only little minnow fish to think of, trees, music, beverages, and a cabin - now THAT'S swimming perfected. ;D

i really really love swimming on the river back in my hometown. every summer i go there for a week or so and i'll go to the river every single day. most of the times it's just me and my dad there, so it's like our private lagoon. it's very nice and we can sun bathe too! how about you?

Well.. All are quite good places to swim. I am deathly afraid of drowning, but I love to swim. I dunno why, just strange. Anyways, I think I prefer lakes. Oceans are usually too cold, and the salt stings my eyes. Pools are too full of chemicals usually. Sea.. Well. I have never been to one before. So, I think that I like swimming in the lake the best. Nice, clear cool water. And I am from Michigan. Lots of water.
